Pau is a pussicat alright. Dude has 9 lives that's for sure.

What's our bench right now.

Duhon
Meeks
Clark
Jamison
Sacre

That literally might be the worst bench in the league. Pau needs to be moved immediately. Nash/Kobe/D12 can handle the starting unit.

Add in MWP being absolute trash right now, Pau being a lock to contribute nothing and D12 dealing with injuries, that bench + what I just said is a disaster.

Nope. Reminds me of this year's Cowboys. :man5:

Call it getting what we deserve just like Miami got theres in 2011.. This is all on the fans here in terms of why the rest of the league is cheering this. Way too cocky we were that's for sure.. Snoop on 1st take saying we'll see you in June etc.. guess SAS and Bayless are right after all and we are the misinformed ones. Pride comes before the fall that's for sure.

and how did we deserve this? I don't recall a pre season championship parade, and quotes like "not 1, not 2...".

So now he can be place on IR, and we can add another player, right?

Watch Buss and Mitch sign Troy Murphy. Ha ha.

It is simple. They should add Martin, cut Ebanks, and sign West.

Maybe even bring in Scott Skiles for defense. But a shake up is needed -- THIS WEEK.

The Wolves ... we still should be at 22-14 right now ( 6 bad losses at home , 1 at Cleveland) , not 15-21 despite the injuries ...

I agree the injuries prevent us to have a shot at becoming a top team... a playoffs team ? Hell no ...

The Wolves have a better record than us despite a ton of injuries ... Portland is 20-15 with FIVE NBA caliber players ...

It's normal, in these conditions, to lose against OKC , SAS , Floppers ect ... against Orlando , Cleveland , Philly and so on ? INEXCUSABLE

Yeah, this news sucks. We already have a lack of depth in our bench and now our best bench player is gone of the season; rebounding, effort, energy, plays 100% all the time, and now he's gone. Wow...

What's your problem? It's a comparison. Relax.

Both teams struggled with injuries. That's all I'm saying.

Hopefully the Lakers can still find a way to make the playoffs.

To me, this was the worst news of this snake bitten season thus far. I was sure Nash would eventually get better even if it took a full 8 weeks. Dwight's new injury is a bummer but he should recover.

But to lose Jordan Hill, our most positive energy providing player - well, it's symptomatic of this season. Just when I was ramping back up some hopefulness that we could turn this thing around, make a run out of it and maybe surprise everyone by going deep, we get hit with this bomb.

Given Pau's ineffectiveness because of injury this season, the system and his own decline, Jordan Hill was the glue guy for the team that could fill in the holes. He could sub in for Pau or for Dwight and bring you the same thing - energy, rebounding, hustle, desire and just get after it.

Without that I don't see us making it there. Forget getting over the hump, that was always a supreme long shot. But we won't even get to that point without Jordan Hill. We just don't have anyone that I can see taking his place.

Earl Clark has been a pleasant surprise, and he's done well . . . but I just don't have a ton of faith that he can keep it up. Maybe he'll continue to surprise and help us get to the playoffs . . . no one knows, got to play the games. But . . .

I'm very sad for Hill, and for us as Laker fans. We are going to miss the guy so much this season. You ALWAYS need a guy like him who can provide a spark and never gives up. :bang: :man6:

Clark isn't Jordan Hill. Even though he came here with a reputation as a "defensive specialist", he's more of a poor man's Lamar Odom. He can defend, rebound, shoot, make plays for others, etc. Which isn't a bad thing, but we have enough shooting and playmaking. We need the defense and hustle Hill provided. Clark does a good job of that, but not at Jordan's level.

^^ I absolutely agree. Pleasant surprise, but nowhere near what we were getting from Hill, IMO as well.

wow. this sucks. earl clark though can be a solid "jordan hill" for us off the bench. but honestly this guy was our motor and energy guy. no big brought it harder than him every game. hes gunna be missed. this would happen this season! one of the best offensive rebounders in the game and we wont have him when we need him most. pau clark and jamison better step up big for him...
