Him or Him?

Postby Kobe_One_Kenobi_8 on Sat Jun 21, 2003 10:49 am

I was tyring to picture who might have a better prime, and I guess it was more appealing to me for a 6'10 small forward in Lewis that can hit the 3 and also post up.

I'll take Spencer. I don't why, but I'll take anybody over Knight.

Kobe_one, you forgot to put another matchup... So I'll do it then:

Kerry Kittles or Jalen Rose?

Jalen Rose, simply because his play is at a more consistent level and has not faced the injuries that Kerry has faced in his career.

Harvey or Horace Grant?

Jackson over Fox.
Jackson over Devean.

That's how much I think of Jackson's skills.

Bigger bust so far...

Darius Miles or Kwame Brown???????

Its funny we could have sighned Jackson for league minimum but decided to sighn George on big contract. We were only Jackson away from winning the championship.

Just look at who we had to play in our rotation at 2 and 3. We played Shaw and Rush for some solid minutes. And just emagine how mutch Jimmy would helped.

Our GM team sux.

Kwame Brown. Kwame had more hype to live up to as the No. 1 pick but I doubt he will ever live up to it. I can't ever see him being a dominant player but it could all change without MJ looking over you shoulder. Miles was basically an unknown but it could also change for him with Lebron getting all the pub in Cleveland. Miles tends to shy away from the press.
Basically, the jury is still out on the rich kids.

RUN TMC or Nash/VanExel/Finley (2003 version of RUN TMC IMO)?

Nice comparison.
I gotta go with Tim, Mitch, and Chris on this one. They were great during their prime as a trio. They were all averaging as a whole 75+ points a game. And one thing about TMC, they did not have a Dirk Nowitki to help them out. So I have to go with the Oakland boys in this one.

James Worthy or Scottie Pippen?????

James, his quickness would take over the match up.

Jay Williams (bulls, before the accident) OR Jason Williams (Memphis)

Duncan, he's a proven winner. I don't like it, but that's who I would pick.

Kobe's rap skills OR Shaq's rap skills

I'd pick Shaq's rappin ova Kobe... But that's just cuz Shaq released more CD's, and I love that song, "U can't stop the reign."... Man that's tight!!

WHat about, AI's rappin, vs C-Webb's, rappin?

AI has some ILL skills on the mic. C-Webb is wack. Ok... let's get back to basketball here:

Latrell Spreewell or Allan Houston? (Their BASKETBALL ability!)

Gotta go with Houston on that one. Drop 35 on you in no time. Sprewell tries to kill the coach a little too often. (Once a career is enough).

Norm was a good point guard starter for the Lakers in the mid to late 70s before Magic came in and won a couple of titles before he got traded for Byron Scott.

Chris Childs is a neglectful father who doesn't even visit his son on his birthday. Go back to Bakersfield and see your son, you idiot!!!!

Bigger bust??

Benoit Benjamin or Sam Bowie????

Sampson relied too much on his athletic gifts and as for SMITS he had like a 2 inch verticle but had a series of POST-moves.
I take SMITS over Sampson:

who had a SWEETER "J"?

Chirs Mullin or Larry Bird

Are you out of your mind? That's too easy... Larry Bird. He's the "Legend" and he's got a smooth jumper.

Derek Harper or Ron Harper (at their primes)

No, I am not out of my mind. I know BIRD had game.. mad game.. he is a LEGEND...I was merely talking about the "J". I watched a documentary about MULLIN and a lot of LEGENDS commented that he had the sweetest "J" they've ever seen. Isiah, magic.....etc. was on that documentary and made the same comments.

anyways to answer your question HARPER wins hands down. Besides the rings, people thought he was a selfish player when he first came into the league. He as like the Drexler in the East while his stay with the CAVS. He became the CLIPPERS best player soon after but made a smart decision when he decided to opt for the TITLE rather than personal stats. He became a consumate teamplayer during and after playing in Chicago with Jordan/Pip. We all know what transpired next after that.

(the battle of the COLLEGE FLOPS!!!!)

I gotta go with Ray Allen. He Got Game. By the way, who is Marques Allen? I haven't heard for him and I tried doing a search for him and nothing came up...

Slam Magazine Cover Battle:

Lebron James or Sebastian Telfair (in their primes)
