HOOPSWORLD is retired, new site on the way

Hey all,

Sad to say that HOOPSWORLD is no more. I've written for the site since 2002 - but the good news is the whole team has something exciting and new going live on January 24. Stay tuned for a new chapter . . .

also, something I wrote on Luke Walton

Luke Walton at career crossroads as coach, TV analyst and NBA hopeful

Thanks!

I'm thankful for the full coverage HOOPSWORLD offered to the fans for the last 14 years... it was a great ride... can't wait for the new site.

Shame about hoopsworld, but it sounds like something even better is coming out of it so that's good.

As for Luke, I like him on tv a lot, I think he's doing a great job and should stick with that. I didn't know he was still hopeful for an NBA playing gig, and I didn't know he was coaching with the D-Denders either. I think playing is probably not realistic, with his back and the speed of the league now. But then if Ryan Kelly can play I girds you never know.
