Horry signing decision???

Any news from the coast on whether or not Horry will be resigned? Love em but I am ready for moves to be made and rings to be WON!!!
By the way I am new so hello to all!!

yesterday, Horry said he did not expect them to pick him up, and thought he would become a free agent.

yeah i dont think the lakers are gonna pick up the option on horry, just seen it up on espn, but im wonderin if the lakers not pickin up horry's 5.3 mil option does that give them even more money to offer to free agents? or does it all add up for the next season?

If the Lakers don't sign Horry, they own him no money. I believe the 5.3 million would be off the cap.

Lakers will probably offer Horry a 1.2 mil contract.

The Veteran Minimum is 1.4 million. The Lakers wouldn't offer Horry less than that but even if they offer him that Robert probably isn't going to stay.

I love Bob, but it's not hard to see that his play has gone down hill the last couple of years. Okay, he did hit that game winner against the Kings, and he almost charged us up with that shot against San Antonio. I just think this is were we part ways for the best. He needs to tend to some business in Texas with his family, and we need to get some young replacements on the court. I disagee with trying to sign him for less. It time to just part ways.

Man, I hope Horry takes a pay cut and stays. This man may be getting up there in age, but he has helped our team so much with his clutch shots and clever defensive moves. I love this guy as a player. Please come back Rob!

Rob stated in an interview that if the Lakers offer him the same as any Texas team that he would not stay in L.A. He said infact that he doesn't see any offer that would keep him in L.A. They asked him if he would play for the Clippers just to stay in L.A. and he just laughed.

Rob is the subject of an up and coming Editorial I am planning. He will be gone and I feel the need to pay homage to his great career with our team. I will miss having him here and I wish him the best...By the way, us not picking his 5.3 mil option up was the signal that he is going on...I guess we will have to get used to life without Horry...

It's sad... But we stilll have the memories, and the 3 championships he was a part of. He saved the Lakers in the Sac Series in 2002, and also the he helped eliminated the Blazers in the 1st round that same year with clutch 3's. When we needed a 3, he wasn't afraid of takin the shot. He'll be remembered for his days with the Lakers, cuz he was the best in the clutch... Find happiness somewhere else, Rob!!!

Robert is still my boy. I think if he would have made that shot against the Spurs we would still be the Champs........ I hope he resigns if not he is still the man!!!!

His contract and our season were on the line with that shot. It's sad it had to be that way.
