Jalen has always praised Kobe as being the best in the game. And I don't know that Jalen was ever supposed to be a superstar, but he did become a very good player.

I'd say the trend Battier started of sticking his hand in the face of the shooter is far more dangerous. Or, Reggie's "on ball" defense.

Bruce Bowen used to do the same thing, it happens. All he learned if he did it on purpose was that you can't take Kobe Bryant down that easily.

Looking at it I think he did do it on purpose. When he goes up to contest he does stick is leg out. Now acknowledging it I think he did do it.
