Jamison is a scorer used to playing 30+ minutes a game. He knew when he came here that he wasn't going to get the minutes, but how is it his fault that we haven't run a SINGLE play for him off the bench? Our offense runs through Robert Sacre or Jordan Hill more than Antawn Jamison and that's his fault?
I'd give him as much blame as I give Nash for not being assertive: so he's got SOME blame. But it's on the coaching staff to instill confidence in his team to make the plays they're capable of.
Brown has chosen to overplay Pau Gasol for an average of 38 minutes a game while Antawn Jamison is playing less than 20. Is that Jamison's fault? The man has only taken 12 shots, half of which are 3s. He's been a great teammate, moving the ball through the offense but is that a reason to say he sucks?
Brown's blame has gotten as far as he's willing to let it go. I have no problems with Brown's offensive concepts, but his rotations are horrible and they're going to get one of our starters hurt. If he gave Jamison the time he deserves, and Meeks for that matter, I'd have a lot less to say abou him.
Stu : "Yeah, that's an old fashioned whoopin'."
