Because it's Antawn's fault that Brown is misusing him?

Please what?

Jamison is a scorer used to playing 30+ minutes a game. He knew when he came here that he wasn't going to get the minutes, but how is it his fault that we haven't run a SINGLE play for him off the bench? Our offense runs through Robert Sacre or Jordan Hill more than Antawn Jamison and that's his fault?

I'd give him as much blame as I give Nash for not being assertive: so he's got SOME blame. But it's on the coaching staff to instill confidence in his team to make the plays they're capable of.

Brown has chosen to overplay Pau Gasol for an average of 38 minutes a game while Antawn Jamison is playing less than 20. Is that Jamison's fault? The man has only taken 12 shots, half of which are 3s. He's been a great teammate, moving the ball through the offense but is that a reason to say he sucks?

Brown's blame has gotten as far as he's willing to let it go. I have no problems with Brown's offensive concepts, but his rotations are horrible and they're going to get one of our starters hurt. If he gave Jamison the time he deserves, and Meeks for that matter, I'd have a lot less to say abou him.

You are probably the only one who doesn't see it. But that's OK. He is being misused. And yes, moving him to the 4 makes him better. Just like moving Blake to the 2 makes him worse. He's been a good scorer all his life. Was he always stuck on a "crappy team"? He needs to play 20 minutes and have plays drawn for him for change.

He's a trash basketball player, but he's still capable of producing more that he has shown so far

No. Unless he makes a major change in his play, it's very easy to see what we got. An over the hill veteran that was stuck on a crappy team that was so terrible he was given the ball 20 times a game and got to do whatever he wanted to with the ball.

Nothing he has done while on that floor in the course of a 48 minute NBA game has shown me that he should be playing.

Has blaming Brown gotten this far?

Only 4 games into the season. Has blaming Jamison for his own suckage gotten this far? Sounds like a familiar tune...

Fans have already started calling for Brown’s job and many of his players have started wondering if he’s the right person to lead the team. Behind closed doors, they’ve questioned Brown’s rotation and how players have been utilized through four games.

We aren't the only ones blaming Brown.....

I have read some Euro forums, blogs and newspaper articles where people wonder if Brown is the right person for this job. So no, it's certainly not just us at CL.

Moving Jamison to the 4 is an obvious move for a slower veteran like him than can play the 4 which is not as quick of a position as the 3, this is by no means magic.

are you kidding, he is humbled to be a Laker, is that really the only thing you saw? Did you not hear him say he doesn't mind making less and having the opportunity to win a ring with a franchise as great as ours? How he likes not being the focal point at this stage in his career and still having a chance to contribute? Sounds real cocky to me...

There's a great article in the Jamison thread, but if you look at his career he's got the numbers to make in the Hall. All he'd need is a Championship to make his career look really sterling.

I wasn't saying whether he should get in, just saying that he's got a resume that could.

I'll have to find the article.
