Meek Mill needs to be open for a few minutes each game. If Kobe is going to be the pseudo-PG, put Meeks in.

Meeks/Kobe/MWP/Jamison/D12.........is a solid lineup.

I think that Pau Gasol may need a little extra help with his garbage sig... maybe we should put more than 1 of his stupid faces on there? Like maybe add a couple extra on top of the "garbage" lettering?

Here's a funny collection if you need more Pau faces:

One more good game from Meeks and I'm switching to the Pau sig... in hopes it'll increase his trade value :man9:

3 point shooting was terrific. Please stop dribbling though into the lane lol. I know he found open 3 point shooters a couple of times and even made a nifty layup but thats not his game

He made Coach Brown look ridiculous tonight for never playing him.

As far as "Garbage" sigs, just make one and put the whole team in it.

Meeks really does have game, but who knows what was going on in Brown's thinking of not playing him.

The key for him is more consistency. I like the way he played tonight. Even when his shots weren't falling he made some nice passes and stayed active defensively.

Jodie needs to play more...you can't play him 8 minutes and expect him to light it up. Give him 15-20 a night and he will put up a few threes and open up the offense for Kobe and Dwight and Gasol. We need this from him consistently.

Like I said....15-20 minutes a night...a few threes...and opening up that offense for our main guys. That's his job and that's what he'll do if he's GIVEN CONSISTENT MINUTES. You can't bring him in for 7 minutes and expect him to put up 12 points. Even though he was missing a few threes....they were not way off...they were right on target and I'm OK with those misses because I know he's going to make them too....and if he gets into a groove....it'll be hard for him to miss all year. I like that he's not afraid to shoot...with that mentality, he'll do very well in the dantoni system. You HAVE to let it fly otherwise teams will continue to cheat on defense with our main guys.

It really made no sense at all, its like he was trying to get fired or something.

Love his shot from the outside

Meeks game is pretty limited but if he can hit the 3 with some regularity it will help us immensely. He should not be put in situations where he has to dribble or drive....

He isn't the best defender either but hustles.... he can be taught to put that hustle into productive defensive action.

I see what you're saying but i think he's been solid on D guarding both PG's and SG's....I don't see any mishaps on that end from him. He definitely can stay in front of his man...he's quick enough.

Also, yes, he needs to just shoot when he gets the ball and he's wide open. however, if he gets the ball, and his man is in front of him...he does pretty well in pick and roll situations because his man doesn't wanna go under the screen cuz they know he'll launch a 3 if he does that...so it forces a roll by the big and a nice pass by Jodie almost every time. You have seen him do a few pick and rolls with Dwight and they've been fairly successful with it. I don't think his game is as limited as people are saying. I really think he just needs to play more. I'd like to see him out there for 20-25 mpg.
