Nash / Meeks / Kobe / Jamison / D12 lineup is going to be sick.


Nash, Meeks, Jamison spreading the floor, while Nash/D12 run pick and roll, and uhhhh yea that Kobe guy can do a few things as well.

i honestly am now happy with the current roster. i think blake will have to prove himself over Duhon in training camp. Ebanks is a solid CHEAP backup SF whose familiar with the coach and team so i think SF is fine.

I think the only issue is PG. Blake vs Duhon

No I meant defensively it sounds bad. Terry is always among the best bench players offensively but his D leaves a lot to be desired.

Oh I see. Well defensively he's no stopper, but he's not bad either. In some advanced stats he was ranked 2nd on his team defensively behind Andre Iguodala. He's a good defender, with room to improve.


Sounds good to me. I can't say I really expect much from him for the vet minimum. What do you think he's worth in terms of salary?

Good signing.

We have the backup 2 guard, backup PF, and the backup SF taken care of. Our backup PG is the worst in the league with Blake, Duhon, and Morris, but we can't be perfect.

If you don't expect much, you'll love him. If you expect a lot you'll probably still be happy. He's getting more than the vets minimum by about 200,000 and almost double what the vets min is as it applies to him.

It's a good price for someone who is young and has good upside. The best part is that the Lakers didn't use the entire mini-MLE on him so they maintain flexibility.

Man, after watching the highlight videos posted on the first page of this thread, I'm pretty excited about this guy. He looks like exactly what we need off the bench! Can't wait for the season to start!!!!!

He wants to ring-chase instead of getting paid more by other teams. Why?

Because Meeks is hoping to get at least some minutes with Nash on the floor... and Nash can get him a new contract after 2 years. Obvious plot is obvious. Worked for so many guys before. :man9:
