d'antoni just said he doesnt care how much kobe plays. he has to play in order for them to be in any position to win. he said they were gonna ride him to death.

Meeks has had a nice string of games as of late. Also the only one from the bench that seems to play hard.

If only he had been this accurate against the Knicks, Lakers might have actually stood a chance. Still, it is good to know we finally have a bankable 3-point specialist on this team, patch up all of the more important things that need patching and it'll be a valuable asset.

they should add a bench celebration contest to all star weekend. robert sacre 2012-13 champion.

shouldnt start but should play big minutes. im okay with ebanks starting and playing 10ish minutes where his only job is defend and bring high energy and hustle...especially when running the break.

willie green type role like the clippers where jamal crawford plays huge SG minutes but strengthens the bench unit and brings that spark.

ebanks or jamison would be fine as starting SF with limited minutes.

I do not like the idea of any of those guys starting. Staring lineup should be:

Nash
Kobe
Ron
Pau
D12

What's so difficult about that?

No, wait I've got some great ideas. We should start Sacre at center. Dwight's offense is just too one dimensional. I think Sacre will work better. Oh, wait, let's start Morris at the stretch 4. He can bomb three pointers from the corner better than Pau. That's good stuff.

I agree that Meeks need to start bc Nash, Kobe, Metta, Pau, DH is just too slow to play together....we need to admit that we have MDA now and we need to run and you cant play Metta and Pau with Nash, its just stupid to try bc that cant work , just no chance.....so meeks as a starter, I am fine with that, he need to run like crazy and make that 3s, nothing else

meeks' shot from 3 seems to be a little off lately but tonight he hit a huge one. also had 7 rebounds! thats one more than dwight! in the end he had some clutch rebounds and even with the refs he play some solid D. love his game and if metta is 100% coming off the bench than meeks should start....nash kobe pau and dwight had a amazing defensive rating tonight so with metta in or meeks it should be even more solid. and offense even better. would give meeks a ton of open 3's and get our offense/team going early so were not fighting a deficit like we seem to love doing.

Meeks needs to knock down those WIDE OPEN threes that he gets though....I know that he hits 3s with guys running at him...but he really needs to make the defense pay when he's WIDE OPEN. I hate when he misses those because it usually results in a fast break for the other team...I agree that Meeks should start esp if Metta is for sure coming off the bench...but then again, Morris's D on the opposing team's PG is our only way to hide Nash temporarily. I think meeks can D up on the opposing PG's too but probably not as well as Morris.

No worries. It'll all balance out in the end. With Meeks at around 38% from 3 pt land for the season.

if meeks can hit and stay at 40% from 3 that would be awesome. hes playing solid D and really brings the hustle energy and heart all game...also hes such a good teamate always looking to give props to guys and is always the first to run up to a guy and high five him /hug after a good play on O or D.

if anyone should start it should be him but his boost off the bench with metta is huge too. Morris is good to start just for defensive purposes play solid controlled smart D and can get like 4+ points w/ 0 turnovers in the 1st quarter that would be good. So as long as morris does that then meeks should come off the bench...if he cant then meeks should start.

Meeks was tapped [in and outs] on a pair of treys. He gives effort on defense. I like his attitude on the floor where he does not quit on plays. Creating off the dribble however? He can drive this Laker fan to drink.

He plays good defense and usually hits the open 3, but whenever he drives in it usually results in a turnover or a bad miss. It's great he wants to expand his game but at the same time he needs to understand his limitations.

Please dont try dribble driving and attempting layups

seems to be in a little shooting slump but he'll come around im sure. he still stays aggressive on D and keeps shooting which is what our bench needs from guys mentally.

I like him as a player but he needs to step up ... he should be between 42-45% from 3 with the type of looks he's getting , not 37%

meeks struggled bad yesterday
especially on defense, he was getting blown by and abused by felton

i haven't given up on him yet though
i've seen how good he can be

Not a great game yesterday; we really need his production on offense. He still plays hard regardless, though.
