every team Antoni coaches he finds that one guy to put in his dog house, I dont recall who it was in Pho but NY he had a few and Hill was one of them. I guess when you're in it no way out unless injuries happen like Jamison.

I like him playing a whole hell of a lot more than Morris. I hope this is the norm going forward.

Seriously. Like I've been saying all along: Meeks does everything Morris does... but better.

The kid played really well tonight. Some defensive lapses, but overall just a really good game.

He made a dunk, AND a layup, in the same game. I'm amazed. But yeah, I'm with realdeal, I liked Morris' defense earlier in the season, but it no longer outweighs the bad, I'd roll with Meeks and hope for what you can get rather than knowing what you'll get from Morris.

Kind of cool seeing him run the pick and roll with the 2nd unit. If him and Gasol could develop some chemistry that would be a good 1,2 punch.

It's really simple, if he continues to hit shots and play within the offense he will get PT.

Those 5 4th quarter points were huge given the circumstances with Kobe and Nash resting on the bench.

Great Job Jodie

He really should pull up for the mid range jumper more often rather than tryin to go all the way to basket and getting stripped/missing a layup.

Yeah. He's not a great mid-range shooter. You can actually see the hesitation most times when he shoots from there, it's a different release than his 3s.

I'd say since he gets such great height on his jump shot he should develop a floater. That'd feel more natural for him.

He made a couple timely shots yesterday, but I agree. Dude need to get his 3pt game where it need to be and focus on that. Hopefully with our new offensive style, he'll get some catch & shoot opportunities and get his rhythm back from distance.

It should be simple for him: shoot the 3. Try to finish strong when you cut toward the basket and a teammate finds you. Play defense. Don't dribble too much. Look at Metta on the break and do the opposite. Actually, don't dribble at all.

That's it.

He's really not a good finisher at the rim as he doesn't have the body control to adjust his shot properly when the defense rotates.

Just say in another tread that Meeks is shooting like 48% on corner 3's. didnt seem that high to me, but thats great!

Stay out there Jody, no one wants to see you out-of-control, barreling towards the hoop! :man10:

^ 48% is awesome, but how many as he attempted from there? From what I've seen most of his threes come from around the top of the arc.

Meeks is quite athletic. Most people don't see that because... well, he's not a dunker, he's a three-point specialist. But yes, he has great hops.
