Meeks should come up with a little move after he makes a 3. Like Westbrook does.

it's about time this moron MDA put meeks on the floor so that we have two 3point shooters one on the strong side and one on the weak side (nash & meeks) which gives D12 & 24 room to operate out the post. been waiting for this lineup all season long. makes us faster and more athletic not to mention higher energy and makes the defenses scramble.

Wish he played with that intensity on D & went for those layups when his shot isn't falling. Lately it's seemed like if his shot doesn't fall, his whole game suffers. I guess that's the story of our team though.

He's had an up & down year. So has our team. The interesting thing is do we exercise our team option on him next year for $1,550,000. I guess we'll have to see how this year continues to play out for him.

Yeah what are you talking about? If there's one thing you can't hold against this guy is his energy.

To start the game he couldn't buy one, to finish it he couldn't miss, so damn streaky makes it hard to get down on him.

I can't get down on him because he's such a hard worker. And he's still effective enough that the hard work seems to be paying off.

I really love the kid's attitude and fire. He's got all the same competitive edge as a lot of the loud mouth jerks in the league, but he's got the old veteran's approach to the game.

I know shooters are streaky, but man, he really is either ice cold or scorching hot! :man10: There's seemingly no middle ground with Jodie.

But hey, tonight I'll take it. Once he started hitting it was pretty insane.

Just hope he can keep it up. Knowing he can be streaky, hot headed and 'basketball dumb' makes it easy to lament all of the missed opportunities we've had this season from role players not doing their roles, but that's behind us, if he can stay hot even for just a little while longer it might be one of the difference makers towards getting this playoffs seed(particularly because he's been playing increased minutes)

man when he hits those wide open 3s....we're a tough team to beat. I hope he can hit them more consistently....hopefully this game is the start of a hot streak for him.

Sometimes, I think he just needs to take another second or two to gather himself when he's wide open. I mean, not speaking from experience, but he has such a quick release that he can afford to relax himself for a second and then launch it because he's wide open.

^^ I agree. Often times he's wide open and he seems to just let it fly without getting set well. He could afford to take a little more time on some of those and gather himself. The quick release is deadly once he's IN his flow, but when he's not he should take a hair more time.

One other thing I'm noticing about Jodie is that he's one of those guys that seems to need to warm up physically to get into his shooting rhythm. Once he is out there for a little while and worked up some sweat he shoots better.

We need to run more Ray Allen plays for him. Moving off the ball, he's just as good getting open under the basket for dunks as he is getting open for 3.

Meeks busted up the Wolves' zone last night. He still makes me cringe though when creates off the dribble.

hope we can still improve this position next year (backup SG)....Meeks is to inconsistent for me and his D is not very good, yes he hustles and doesn't back down to other guys but he's still on the small side for SG even as a backup he still gets burned often against bigger 2's, he gets lost rather often on D especially when he has to guard players who are always on the move and the most frustrating one of all, finishes at the rim ala Fisher.
