I love that, he already knows what Meeks can and can't do, not going to try and make him somebody else, and hopefully not going to bench him because he's not getting anything out of him like Brown.

Well if Jodie played in a lineup where he only had to stand and shoot the ball when he gets it.....

If MDA trots out Nash/Meeks/Kobe/Jamison/D12......money in the gosh damn bank. Meeks would be getting a ton of looks aka the MWP shots.

thats gona wear down Kobe, he already doesn't play much D to begin with but putting him @ 3 would wear him down quicker against the more physical 3's in the league.

is there really that many 3's with the physicality to wear him down? Heck it might actually help Kobe on D since he wont be out-quicked(is that a word) by the faster 2 guards.

I trust Meeks as bench player more then I would with Peace coming of the bench, dude might get even worse, hard to imagine as bad as he already has been.

Even though he's been missing shots whenever he shoots I still think it's going in. Hopefully in a few days we'll see more of that shooting touch.

D'Antoni is already doing it right...don't put too much expectations on players, especially beyond there ability. Meeks is a scorer, was brought here to shoot. So just catch and shoot...should calm his nerves down.

He looked calm tonight and actually did well in the pick and roll with howard a few times. He needs to play more than 9 minutes though...i wanna those minutes creep up to the 18-22mpg range. You can't expect our best shooter to get in rhythm if he's only playing 9 minutes....

Played well ... did the right thing by taking a couple of dribble to his right to free up space and shoot

Jodie just needs to know where and when he's going to get his shots.

Clear example of this was when they ran that "21" play for him off of Dwight's pick at the top of the arc.

When he shoots with confidence he rarely misses. You can tell there's a hitch in his shot whenever he's unsure to shoot (and it usually results in a miss).

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

BEST VIDEO EVER ... AND AND THE SECOND BEST.

His shots still aren't falling, but at least he's not trying to create for others.

Ouch. Poor Meeks got posterized in the 2nd quarter. :man10:

He really needs to step it up. I don't want Kobe to end up playing too many minutes cuz we dont have a reliable backup SG. At least he's not turning the ball over.

Yeah, his history should surprise no one. However, I hope his playoffs are one of the highs instead of lows. That would suck.
