Is he gonna have a presser?

HotFudge wrote:Think he could play point guard? I remember when he played for UK he'd play point when John Wall wasn't in.
All he has to do is defend well, walk the ball up the court, and then dump it into whichever starting big is in at the moment.

I was gonna say, judging from the videos, the dude has a super sweet stroke. Mitch is a genius going for him instead of JRich's expensive contract.

The Los Angeles Times reports Jodie Meeks will sign his two-year, $3 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday after he takes his physical.
Meeks was sought by a bunch of teams, but the trade for Dwight Howard made the difference says his agent.
"For a team like the Lakers, the ability to hit an open three is crucial," said David Bauman. "The Dwight deal definitely put the scale in favor of the Lakers. There was no question at that point."

Getting D12, ultimately led to us getting Meeks. Very nice.

Clipper bench includes Billups, Odom, Grant Hill, Jamal Crawford.
There is pretty much a zero chance we have the best bench. SA is like 10 guys deep, Denver is like 10 guys deep etc...
the Lakers really only have Jamison and Hill as solid backups. The rest is just unproven or over the hill.

Animal style!
That is the smartest tweet I have ever seen from an NBA player. We are gonna love this guy.
I will bet he can't wait to go up against Kobe in practice everyday. It will make him so much better.
