Jodie Meeks: signs with Pistons-3 yr / 19mil!?!? = cya

Re: Jodie Meeks Discussion

I thought last night's rotations were a little better... but some reason he wants to squeeze out either Ebanks or Meeks. Why?

Nash/Meeks/Ebanks/Jamison/Howard

Blake/Bryant/World Peace/Hill/Gasol

Damn. How difficult was that.

Some of us posted those same rotations.

It's a huge mystery, apparently.

He needs to play Meeks. Meeks can flat out shoot and space the floor. He can also give Kobe some rest. My goodness. Play him, please.

I remember the LA media would always get in Phil's face about stuff, and he'd handle them quite deftly.

Do they get in Clown's face at all? Maybe they could ask him about the rotations and why capable players are being left out.

Meeks really needs to get more minutes, Brown is playing the starters like it's the playoffs.

Meeks might be our best guy off the bench, but he pretty much gets a DNP, while Brown takes time to figure out whether is worth it to play Ebanks out of position or not.

Hint: it's not.

i really dont understand why its so hard for mike brown.

Blake
Meeks
Ebanks
Jamison
Hill

those are their positions. Hill can play the 4 if Howard or Pau are in at C of course. The more you play them at those positions the better they'll get and build chemistry. Meeks is the backup 2 and anytime kobe isnt on the floor Meeks should be at the 2 or even play besides kobe if kobe is at the 3. its really not that hard....a former player coach would get that...mike brown just looks at the players as statistics. theres more intangibles to the game.

I would even split some of Blake's minutes for DJO to speed up the game and guard the quicker PGs of the league.

I would bet at least three guys will play 38+ minutes tonight. One of them will be named Kobe Bean Bryant.

Free this f***ing kid. He's one of our best shooting options. Blake has played well so far, but that doesn't mean find excuses for him to play the SG spot...

Meeks is an excellent shooter, has decent handles and works on defense to the best of his abilities. Maybe Brown sees something that we all don't know about.

5 minutes in two games; Kobe has logged in 80 minutes in two games with a bum foot. I still can't believe it...
