hope we can still improve this position next year (backup SG)....Meeks is to inconsistent for me and his D is not very good, yes he hustles and doesn't back down to other guys but he's still on the small side for SG even as a backup he still gets burned often against bigger 2's, he gets lost rather often on D especially when he has to guard players who are always on the move and the most frustrating one of all, finishes at the rim ala Fisher.

we need something better than Meeks......its not good when neither he nor Blake know how to consistently attack the paint. He is also not very bright, when matched up against Jackson he pretty much became non existent once he got screen. Reason he got screened so easily cause he stupid and tried to play Jackson tight, that dude is an iffy shooter evident by his brick when he was left wide open. Instead Meeks kept getting destroyed on screen and Jackson pretty much look like a carbon copy of Westbrook

Jackson looked like an elite PG against him. He might have a slower first step than a snail. It was not a good night for Mr. Meeks.

And like Khmrp said, why not dare the guy to shoot and live with the consequences.

Im not going to pile onto the guy because he tries hard, but it really annoys me seeing him set up into his defensive stance when I know for sure he's about to get smoked. As I watched him play defense I wouldve sworn Fisher was back in P&G if he wasnt on the other team.

He did a great job of recovering from that OKC game. Huge performance off the pine tonight. Even the stat boys (Hollinger) will love this one, he was +19...I guess one for each point he had.

This might have been the first game where he made a lot of those late threes we need. I know he's done it before at the START of the 4th, but this time it was at the END of the 4th. HUGE shots.

And down the stretch he was every bit as important defensively as Metta or Kobe was.

Played very good D on Gordon too.

That three he hit when he was wide open by himself to cut the lead to 2....that was when I knew we were going to win this game. If he missed that it would have killed our momentum.

he's a keeper. first impact player we've signed for our bench in a while. he really goes balls out every second he's on the floor but always remembers his role. ron artest should learn something from jodie
