he's not a keep in my books, I gave him his props but he's to inconsistent for me. I dont know how he can look like a dam fool against Reggie Jackson and then very next day look like he knows what he's doing on D against Gordon. Defensive abilities shouldn't come and go like that, I know hitting shots can come and go.

Jodi has to hit those first shots he gets to fire up that 2nd unit. When he and Jamison get going early the team as a whole plays better and with more energy. He finished great against the birds
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Meeks, I know its not your fault that coach put you out there against dude that are 4-5 inches taller than you and you cant defend most of the time but could you at least try and not be such a streaky shooter?

Ill just quote myself from a few days ago......other than Fisher playing for the other team tonight, pretty much my thoughts. im not even mad either, and I actually like the guy.

i still can't believe d'antoni had a guy who is 6'3 at best guarding legit 6-7, 6-8 guys with a solid 15-20lbs on him.

he's not tony allen

3 for 11 then got completely destroyed on the defensive end tonight. Not a good showing for Jodie by a long stretch.

Jodie struggles against bigger & more athletic SG's. He tries to battle but he just gives up too much size. It gets much worse he's not making his shot. Not a good night for Mr. Meeks...

jodie guarding guys bigger than him was a coaching thing. so i ain't mad at him for the lousy job he did there. the poor shooting though...keep practicing jodie.

I wouldn't say that he's always a defensive liability, but Anderson is 6"6' so they were exploiting that mismatch down the final stretch of the 4th quarter. I was more upset that MDA kept him in there, but I suppose that he wanted the floor spacing on the offensive end.

i thought it was stupid of dantoni to keep him in but in all honesty who would they have played? earl prob would have been the only option and i think he would have gotta beat more and at least jodie was in the post with dwight behind him.

i thought he hit a big 3 and thats why hes in and at least he never gave up. they were picking on him but dwight had his back and everyone seemed to be kind of cheering him on.

i think him playing big minutes down the stretch will only help him come playoff time.

who would we put in? thats the reason he was in. if we had put clark(who was in lala land) or jamison or defense would have been just as bad

he stayed in because we lack options. keeping him in was the right move IMO.
