Now they're getting hurt in practice too. Farmar injured his groin today, will see a doc. Update on his condition tomorrow.

Seriously? Farmar needs to do nothing but yoga and conditioning this offseason.

Funny you say that. His wife is a Yoga instructor (former soccer star at UCLA).

Must be those weird positions in the bedroom... :man1:
I shall be telling this with a sigh

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

so is Farmar injury prone?
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Eh, he went from playing those short Euroball seasons to a grueling 82 game schedule. It was bound to happen... he isn't used to it.

He can take all his time to heal, too. This season is meaningless.

this is a really good point that I never thought of with him. I am absolutely sure this has something to do with his groin injuries this year. I mean what else could it be. He hasn't really been injury prone in the past from what I remember

Jordan Farmar on his role if he stays: “Whether it’s a lead guy or just a part of the team, I want to be here."

I know we can't sign everybody, but at the end of a tough season it is nice to hear a useful player who has said all the right things and seems to have embraced L.A as a home. Injuries were the only cloud to a player who added energy, competitiveness, leadership and a good three ball. I hope to see Jordan Farmar as a Laker next season provided he does spoil our plans for something bigger. If this next season ends up being just a lateral move then I hope to see Nick Young, Jordan Farmar, Marshall etc. I guess the key is not to give up for your future for your past and it is so frustrating that our dumping of Lamar (one of my favorite Lakers) and Pau (also up there on my Laker list) was at the perfect time for Paul. Has there ever been a more false weasel word phrase than Basketball reasons? I say hell no. :mad1: :bang: :disagree: :man2:

No Question Farmar should be back.

fan favorite from before and im just amazed at how much he improved his game, not really with the physical fundamentals, but how he commands the floor and how calm he is.

people bagged on him before for stupid shot selections and quick trigger before, but he controls himself now like a true vet. not to mention that his killer instinct and shooters touch is much preferable over steve blake.

i dont care how well he played this season or the ending of last, it wasnt enough and it wasnt soon enough, he should of been playing like that since we acquired him when PJ was still our coach.

he just wasnt the right PG for our team, he needs the be a true PG for him to be effective, IMO.

but btw, did we win that game? ^ i forget.

Clips not taking long to look for options to replace Darren Collison at backup PG: They've reached out to Jordan Farmar, per league sources

Clippers have had conversations with free agent point guard Jordan Farmar, per source. Farmar has 3-4 teams interested in him.

I wonder who else is in the hunt.

Marc J. Spears ‏@SpearsNBAYahoo 9s

Clippers have become the front-runner to land Lakers free agent point guard Jordan Farmar, but nothing agreed to as of yet, sources said.

Ugh! I've never been a big Farmar fan, he was a nice cog off our bench last year, but I hate the Clippers getting player after player. They're 15 deep.

He will be injured half of the year anyway. I'm all for bringing back Blake instead (some rumors out there)

Farmar would be great for them off the bench if healthy, I don't want to see that.

Farmar needs to pump the breaks and be patient.. let us figure out Melo and then we can focus time on you, Pau, Swaggy, Hill, X, Wes, etc.
