Much more poised & in control this time around! Definitely the heart & soul of the bench mob, you can feel the passion he feels for the purple & gold jersey through his play, welcome back Jordan :jam2:

I loved that play where he gets knocked to the ground near midcourt and its Lakers ball, and Farmar gave like 10 hand slaps to Hill from on the ground. He was so pumped :jam2:

This guy is the s***. Same dude, different attitude. Improved skill set. He ran the offense extremely well IMO.

So glad to have this guy back.

We sorely missed his presence with the 2nd unit after he left (and Blake was in that role). Great to have a guy that can push the ball, penetrate and actually create for others.

He seems to have matured (by his own admission) and makes better decisions out there as well.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

IMHO, he's better than Nash right now. He's the sole reason why our second unit is so good.

I am really happy bc of Jordan. I feel sorry when he left Lakers. But since then he is much better player now and that decision to go to Europe and work on the game was great. IMO he can be our PG next 6-7 years for sure. Next year I hope Nash is going to retire and our first option need to be Jordan bc he is LAKER and I want to see these kind of guys in purple and gold. And best thing is he is just 26 years old. Great to see him back where he belong

I agree with you borri, that he's better than Nash right now. No question to me. And I think you're right to give him a TON of credit for the bench's success. He's orchestrating the offense out there and is really working well with D' Antoni.

But still, you've got to give credit to the hustle of Jordan Hill and Wes on D, plus the remarkable play of Henry. Throw in the fact that Meeks made his threes last night on top of it. The bench played really well together on both sides of the floor (other than Meeks' weak D).

Meeks' dribbling in traffic is a nightmare too.

Farmar's energy sparked the team and I'd much rather he have the ball than either Black or Young as the initiator.

I'm almost at the point where I think he should start over Nash. Nash didn't look good at all.

Oh I've missed having a quick PG who can take it to the basket and finish.

Farmar always could but being in the Tri restricted his tendencies which was why left. Now in D'Antoni's offense, he can keep his dribble, direct or attack. Much different than initiate the set, throw it into the post or the elbow, then run to the corner wait for the play to develop.

Yeah, they were really good together on that team, but they did not get along. They each thought they were better than the other, Collison was glad when Farmar left early so he could take over the point/team if I remember right. They definitely like to go at eachother in the NBA now.

I'm so happy to have Jordan back! Although I think I'll stab someone if they continue to muck up his last name. It's Far-mar not Far-mer! It was driving me nuts last night!

I really dislike Reggie Miller as a color announcer. He has an annoying tone and better than you sound to his opinions and those guys last night sucked donkey balls at least 3 times saying Barnes play on (damn forgetting right now) across the arms was a play on the ball and just a hard old school foul. BS the replays at the same time clearly showed nowhere near the ball. They said it over and over! Whoa lookee here …..sports media with an agenda. LMAO!

Agreed, although I don't dislike Reggie, I just hate the fact that people can't seem to get Farmar right, lol. Ha! I know what you mean and look it turns out it was not just a hard foul after all, shows how much they know!

^I think Reggie is actually one of the few national commentators who is favorable to the Lakers. I don't dislike him either. In fact, I like him. Marv Albert is noticeably indifferent, which really means he's more favorable to anyone playing the Lakers. Steve Kerr is a hater. Doug Collins is as well, but I like him because he knows so much about the game. Kevin Harland is a hater. Hubie Brown is a hater. Mike Fratello is a hater.

So really, Reggie is one of the few to say positives about the Lakers. Always reps Kobe too, despite hating each other when Reggie was a player.

He has an old school mind on the game though, about "hard fouls" and certain calls.

He needs to get with the times, this ain't the 90's anymore where an elbow to the chops is a personal foul instead of a 7 game suspension.
