^Jordan's been killing it...great stats; and in just under 20 minutes; so glad to have him back.

He played well, as usual.

if you project his minutes out to 36MPG his stats would be 17.5ppg/8.3apg/5.6rpg.

He left money on the table to come back home and play for the Lakers and it really is a remarkable story. He's clearly a much more mature player and aside from his brief slump, he's played amazing basketball. i just hope everything works out and he sticks around for a while.

That foul and those two missed FT's...other than that, he was very good. Glad to see D'Antoni finishing with him.

those free throws...yeaaaaa. but honestly i ain't mad about that block attempt. he would have had it if Jennings hadn't done a hip flop and made contact that way.

Jordan brings a lot to the table and it should be a high priority to resign him. I am confident Mitch will reward him for coming cheap and producing. He is and should remain a Laker. There are some people in the league that just want to goof off and have fun while being paid large amounts of money. We need to keep the ones that know how and are willing to put the work in to winning championships.

This is Blake's last year. He won't be back unless he takes a pay cut.
Nash will likely be forced to retire.
Field is open for Farmar; the starting job could be his next year as he's a good MDA-style PG. Pay him Blake money, done, don't think anyone else will offer more. Find some decent backups for cheap, done.
Some try to tell me

Strained hamstring, no backup pg. I said to start the season I don't get going with only 3 actual PG's, as in only 3 guys that are actually capable of bringing the ball up court and running an offense for us. We have a crap load of 2's and 3's that are catch and shoot(i don't mention bigs as you have to have bigs), yet only 3 guards when one was an injury guaranteed to happen in Nash, not smart. Hopefully if Farmar is out much time we sign a guard or Kobe comes back to help with that role.

We'll see what happens with him. Next game is on Friday, he might be OK. If not... Kobe might come back.

Hope he doesn't miss any time.. Not only is he the leader of the best bench in the league, I also fear it might force Kobe to rush his return or make Nash try to play.. If Kobe's ready to go obviously I'd want him to come back & take over some of the handling duties but it's not worth a setback, we'll be fine.. Nash on the other hand.. I'm just hoping if he plays another game for us it's just to show the team we're trading him to that he's capable of making it through a game injury free.

man the 4 days should do him great. We could of really used him in the 2nd half tonight.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

really tough break for Jordan.

at least he came back to the bench at the end of the game and could walk just fine unlike when Iggy had his hamstring injury against us last week where he couldnt even walk.

Preseason was his calf I believe, I think this is a completely new injury.

Hamstring injuries are a b****. They take a long time to fully heal so they're prone to reinjury.

He's young enough that 4 days might do him well, but I'll be cautious with this one. He might need to sit out a week or two.
