really hoping 'Antoni can find a way to get this guy solid minutes even when Pau comes back. There is no way a coach can ignore the hustle/energy of a player like this.

Jordan is playing extremely well but I wouldn't be mad if he doesnt play many meaningful minutes, Dwight is doing well at C, Pau is a Center so you have to give him a look there, Jamison has been fantastic as a stretch 4...its not that Hill is not good enough its just that we have better players who need minutes in that position. It is a very long season I hope Hill doesnt get discouraged and loses his intensity we're gonna need him over the course of the season here and there...its good to know that when Pau or Howard get into foul trouble you can count on Hill. That is a huge plus

Sure there is. He could be named Mike Dan Tony.

true but Brown also managed to ignore Jamison/Meeks, so no coach is perfect. Just hoping Antoni can see during this stretch that hill is a productive player regardless of his offensive skills.

Hill/Duhon or Blake or Morris for Sessions. Sign Martin.

Sounds pretty damn good right now.

Dwight(36)/Pau(12)/Sacre
Pau(20)/Jamison(24)/Martin(4)
Artest(32)/Kobe(6)/Ebanks(6)
Kobe(28)/Meeks(20)
Nash(28)/Sesh(20)

sounds a lot more like a championship level team with much more balance.

IMO Hill is going to have to be traded. He's probably our best trade piece given contract, age, impact. While we'd all love to see him get more mins, Dwight/Pau/Jamison is teh rotation and it makes perfect sense. we won our rings with Bynum/Pau/LO. This is better version of that. Sign Kenyon as a extra body and great defender/enforcer and then Sacre can get very spare mins in case of fould trouble to both Pau and Dwight.

I'm curious as to how Blake will play when he returns, but having a lighting quick PG who can probe/attack/create off of penetration is exactly what this team needs. If he could be a good defender, all the better. But I think it's clear Hill is going to be the odd man out and given that Kenyon is available and cheap, I think moving Hill for the 6th man level pg would do wonders. Meeks will find easy buckets off of that, Jamison can flourish, and Pau get's to play mins at C where he can still be a big factor.

Not saying Sesh is available, but maybe someone comparable.

thats not my intention, but its just to show that every coach out there has a way of overlooking productive players, I said I would hope antoni would see the benefits of playing Hill more, I know it probably gona go back to the way it was once Pau comes back, oh well wasted talent I suppose.

Glad Pau is continuing to rest tonight so Hill can keep getting some good minutes and producing at a high level.

Hill has the highest offensive rebound rate in the league (20.0) but even in a thin rotation he's played only 16 minutes a game this season.

What silly statement to make.

Thin? It's only recently gotten thin with Gasol going down. Not to mention 16 minutes is plenty of time when you look at the talent above him in Howard, Gasol, and Jamison.

Nothing official. I'm guessing that it's day-to-day. That's kind of how back spasms are.

Interesting that these back spams start to randomly flare up the game before Hill becomes eligible to be traded...

Jordan Hill is a hardworker, he is fighting for his NBA life now at the moment in order to stay with the Lakers to prevent trade away from the Lakers

14 points 8 rebounds filling in for Dwight while he was in foul trouble. He and Metta were instrumental in keeping us in this game.

this game was won by 3 guys in my mind: jordan hill, mwp, and nash.

jordan was fantastic out there tonight, great energy as usual, hitting that 18 footer, etc.

the guy needs consistent minutes, there's no debate about it

This guy provide a ton of energy and hustle on the boards, love this guy and would hate to see if the Lakers trade him just because of D'Antoni.
