Clark isn't Jordan Hill. Even though he came here with a reputation as a "defensive specialist", he's more of a poor man's Lamar Odom. He can defend, rebound, shoot, make plays for others, etc. Which isn't a bad thing, but we have enough shooting and playmaking. We need the defense and hustle Hill provided. Clark does a good job of that, but not at Jordan's level.
