Wel the Rockets are playing the Clippers today so maybe he'll just join them tonight

Hill isn't worth a first round draft pick. This is a bad trade for the Lakers.

I'd be surprised if Hill was still on the roster next season.

Just go to the Rockets forums and ask around.

It's not as though the Rockets had a glut of capable big men so that Hill couldn't crack their lineup.

Houston got a pick. We got a salary relief.

it's protected til Kingdom come and they lost Fisher's salary
both trades end up saving the lakers 25M i think total(or 22M. something like that)

No shock. You knew he wasn't going to report or he would have already.

Now, where will he go? Miami, Golden State, Spurs, OK City?

I don't think anyone takes him. Houston was the only team with the real need.

If he plays with Miami and get a 6th ring before Kobe that would be crazy.

I am hoping that the Lakers offer him a job in the booth or on the bench soon.

I think he'll retire. Probably to spend more time with his family, particularly his daughter.

Then he'll make a return to the NBA, probably as the new (&old) face of the Players Union replacing Billy Hunter who we know not everyone was happy with during the lockout.

I do not anticipate him chasing another ring. Been there. Done that. On to better things.

^ The absolute dream would have been sending Fisher to Minnesota for Micheal Beasley, them negotiating a buyout with Fisher, and Fisher joining our staff as an assistant coach, or getting some front office position witht he Lakers organization.

We didn't trade for Hill. Cmon. You predicted Durant would be better than Oden. With that kind of basketball acumen, I'd expect you to know this!

Hill is nothing more than a warm body that we had to take to get rid of Fisher's contract and the 3 or 4 million a year that would be guaranteed with our first round pick. He's worth about 14 million in cap and Tax savings next year.... other than that he's going to be about as useful as his left was in that video.....

Hill has some upside, but he's mostly what you would expect in a backup big. He's big.

Jordan can actually CATCH the ball, that alone makes him better then Kwame "the best defensive center in the NBA" Brown.
