It's all part of Brown's brilliant plan to play Pau as starting PF AND backup C, sure he's old and played in the olympics, but it's ok he can play 40 minutes a game anyway. :man11:

Pau has played 80/96 minutes so far in two games. :man11:

LMAO that's actually a positive, any player that doesn't know the offense is more likely to succeed.

LOL that's such a BS excuse. We have Antawn Jamison, a more than capable PF (NOT A SF) who can drastically cut down on Gasol's minutes.

Yet Jamison has played 13 and 15 minutes respectively in the first two games. :freak2:

and how important is it for hill to be 100% in sync on offense anyway? isn't he there for defense and rebounding?

I get not playing him a ton of minutes until the offense clicks better, but he's not going to get it if he's sitting on the sideline. I mean, if we're in this for the long haul then we're better suited for him to be in there now. We're losing games anyway.

everytime hes on the floor good things happen. No one knows the offense but by playing you learn it...practice is different than a real game. Cant be playing Pau and Dwight 40 mins a game just bc Jordan Hill doesnt know the offense. :bang:

The guy can easily give Pau & Dwight 15 mins of rest if not more and hold his own. Per 36 prob out rebound them as well. The guy is an easy 6 & 6 in like 15 mins. I say we need all the help we can get and one way is with his energy hustle which is lacking imo.

He better play more mins and let Dwight & Pau have a night where they dont play 40...Dwight especially needs less playing time and more recovering time. Pau cant play these mins bc he wont be there for us in the playoffs. Jordan Hill is an excellent backup for both of them...its stupid not to play him as long as he's okay with his back of course

I hope Brown plays him a lot more than what he played last game. We can't have Dwight and Pau playing 40+ minutes every night, it'll eventually start to wear them down.

Hill has been abysmal offensively, but we know he can do good things when given more time. Surely indirectly, spelling Howard and Gasol is worthwhile.

I'm not sure why he is the focus of the 2nd unit. He's an energy, rebound, garbage man. He's getting all the post touches and it's just not his role in the league (hence him jumping from team to team). His perfect role is that of a hustle/energy guy. For him to be the focal point of the 2nd unit is just setting him up to be something that he isn't.

On nights like opening night when he has "it" continue playing him and then play him in 2nd half. If he doesn't have it like he did in the Clippers game, no need to put him in further. Is it really that hard Mike Brown? Last night Tiago Splitter was having a bad game in 1st half and Poppovich sat him and he didn't re-enter in 2nd half.

so maybe hell get some mins tonight? i mean he isnt in there for offense...it for defense and rebounding. most of his points come from putbacks or just lucky wide open jumpers.

stop running pau into the ground and dwight too whos still recovering and play hill!

i seriously dont understand how mike brown thinks...or doesnt think...hed play the starters 48 mins if he could bc he never played and doesnt understand the toll it takes on a players body. he thinks a days rest and your back to normal to play another 40+ min game. idiot.
