Crap. This is a serious blow to our bench. Hopefully its not too bad and he can play through the season.

Wow what a shame. He was by far our best bench player yesterday. Herniated discs are definitely a serious matter. Wouldn't surprise me if he misses the whole season. :disagree:

Watkins was the Surgeon and Klapper is the consulting physician I believe.... what's your point?

I hope both of them come back as close to what they were before they suffered the injuries but I'm also reticent to the fact that they have a good chance of having some limitations .....

Hope he's going to be able to play through it. His rebounding is invaluable to this team.

So this sucks for Hill and depth but this isn't a season altering injury. I'm not sure why people are so worried. He wasn't a main cog or even top 6 player. He was debatable 7th

Would I rather have him healthy? Of course

But it's not the end of the world and it's not THAT tough of a loss

There is not a good chance of limitations, that's a pretty bold statement. If your gonna make it at least provide some proof to make the discussion relevant.

Lakers don't make the trade for Howard if hes going to have limitations. Especially with the elite physicians and consultants at the lakers disposal

Damn, son. A healthy Hill + Dwight backcourt would have meant zero rebounds for the opponent. We're just gonna have to work that much harder to make up for our loss of his free rebounds and extra possessions.

This is really bad news.. With Jordan's style of play, this kind of injury could take him out of the league. Hope for a full & speedy recovery. If Mike Brown still plays Jamison at SF we need to take up a collection to make him disappear.

^^^^ well he said potentially ... it's not like every person body would react the same to the same health problem ...

We could get K Mart as depth insurance ... but this injury brings back Jamison at his natural position

it'll also mean more mins for Meeks

Gasol slides to backup center. Jamison covers the back up 4 mins. Ebanks plays more exclusively at the 3 and then Meeks gets more mins at the 2.

Obviously losing J Hill is bad news, but hopefully we can get him back sooner than later and have him for when it matters most... June.

It's amazing we find so much common ground in this forum.....

Adding Martin is a very very high risk low reward proposition in the best case scenario.....

I hope Mitch can swing a trade somehow so we don't have to watch this guy. Maybe if Ebanks has two good preseason games in a row we can find a taker and get a serviceable big.....

so how about lakers just dont even play pre season games anymore. last year kobes wrist and this year hills back. players risking injury over games that dont matter in the least.
