Should start ( or at least be the 1st big off the bench) ... Williams is spacing the floor as much as I do 6000 miles away from Staples so far

I've been a Mike D'Antoni defender, at least in comparison to the avarage Lakers fan, I can even forgive the fact that he didn't play until the fourth quarter against the Spurs, but after watching how he played, I hope Hill plays AT LEAST 24 minutes tonight, if not, then I might get mad with D'Antoni.

Williams is a disappointment so far.... well maybe not since I wasn't expecting much. MDA's system dictates a shooter at the 4. without it his system falls apart. Of course without a prime Nash his system falls apart.... without a prime Amare his system falls apart......

Hill should play more but I do like Kaman as the primary backup to Pau. He is our best mid range shooter.... think about that for a second and that in a nutshell tells you where this team is.....

I was just thinking during the game, has Hill really improved this much, or is this team so bad that he looks like Dennis Rodman out there in comparison? :man10:

No Dwight, No Bynum, no MWP and old Pau makes Hill look really good. Nobody on this team is a "hard hat" guy except him.

I'm sorry but after listening to what Kaman said tonight in how he wants to play more minutes with Pau this is what the new front court lineup needs to be (sorry Shawne):

C: Gasol, Hill
PF: Kaman, Wesley

Kaman's post game interview was really entertaining because he really did his best not to knock MDA but said that its frustrating not getting consistent minutes. Plus, Hill needs to get more minutes definitely

And he only got 14 minutes tonight. :bang: Can only blame Mike D for that brilliance.

glad when he first came in staples center gave him a good roar. guy is a monster on the boards and i can see how tough it is to share minutes at the C between hill pau and kaman. but i would like dantoni to stray away from small ball ALL the time. im sure theres plenty of room for hill and pau/kaman to share the foor and still get mins for wes at the 4. shawne is doing a lot of good things so its a tough call. but im glad hill finished the game and did a lot of great things to get us the win basically

This guy grabbed some huge rebounds for us and I'm glad he was playing at the end of today's game. Hopefully MDA realizes how good he is out there and actually gives him the minutes he deserves.

its tough. In the defense for Mike, the three guys involved in this tough decision, (Williams, Hill, Wes) they've all done things that contributed to the defense. Williams is small for the 4, but the guy has had great moments on D. Some good blocks that have resulted in a turnover. As has Wes. But Hill has consistently gave us 2nd chance opportunties. So, let the guy who is hot in, and the other, let him re-energize. And when Hill, or Wes or Kaman hit a wall, re-insert Shawne.

He's been bringing the exact same things at the same level since the 2012 April game against OKC ....

I don't see any improvment , he's doing what he has always done as a Laker

This guy is a keeper. He's a Kenneth Faried type (less athleticism) with a decent jumpshot. The effort is invaluable, those 2nd chance points can mean everything in games.

While MDA is still trying to put together a lineup, I think this much is clear - PT for Hill and Henry.
There are two teams that play in the Staples Center:
the LA Lakers and NBA Clippers.

Williams needs to sit. Although his defense is nice, Hill deserves the minutes at PF.

Don't know how Williams has contributed as much as Hill has in the time they've played.

Big props to JH for almost single-handedly saving us from another embarrassing collapse like the one that happened vs. the Duncan-less Spurs the other night.

As much as I love watching him play & what he brings to our team, the whole time he's out there I'm expecting him to get injured at any moment.. Hopefully his value is going up enough to make him the centerpiece of a deal. I'd still unload him for Faried in a second.

He needs to start or be the first off the bench, I can see the guy playing well with both Pau and Kaman. It was so stupid having Wes on Diaw, it should of been Hill.

Hill was the one most responsible for us winning that game last night. His work without the ball is amazing. He and Kaman need to be our closing bigs in games IMHO.

MDA most certainly misuses Wes. Blake too. That being said, I don't think Hill would've saved us and got us a W against the Spurs. There were all sorts of problems that game. Last night, he bailed us out. :jam2:

The fact that we needed bailing out in a home game against ATL is just...sad. :man6:
