You know, id hate to face Pheonix in the 1st round if I were the Spurs. I really think that will be the big upset in the 1st round :man1:

I agree, Phoenix match up well with the Spurs and play well against them. I think Phoenix holds a 2 to 1 edge in the season so far. Please correct me if I'm mistaken. Phoenix looks pretty confident at this point in the season and are playing well. Remember that it took 2 great shots from Kobe to put them down. So the Spurs should be scared. :man4:

I don't get why Laker fans seem to be trying to dock the Spurs. As good as the Lakers have been playing, Kobe playing at a whole different level and Shaq looking like the Shaq of 2000, Laker fans shouldn't be fearing anyone. The Lakers are playing extremely well as of late and look primed to win their 4 peat. I wish I could say the same for my team!

Mind telling us who your team is?
thanks

and the suns just snapped spurs 11 game win streak on sunday after their win at home over them.
marbury was huge in that game, but spurs also had way too many turnovers

I dont think Suns realy stand a chance Vs the Spurs. But I think Portland would in the 2 nd round with Pippen back, playing cerious basketball. But lets hope it doesent come to that and we get a chance to be in that part of the draw.

I think Blazers and spurs if they meet will have a tough series, like it will go down to game 7
duncan and parker wil be big for the spurs in the playoffs
and sabonis and the trio will really step it up for portland

Yeah, agree with E and Dragan that Portland is a team that could give Duncan and company problems. Portland under pressure plays nasty as a last resort. The Spurs tend to cave in when it gets physical.

Guest, are we afraid of the Spurs? Perhaps a little worried, but nothing that will crush any LA egos. I respect any team that has been so dominant to close out a series, but that is what get's Shaq and Kobe's blood pumping, and they haven't been beaten in such a scenario in... well, going on 4 years now.

Well, if my team were the Lakers and watching the way they are playing now compared to November/December last year, I would not worry at all. Kobe especially is playing with a new found determination. I hate to see his eyes light up when he talks about going for a 4peat being 5th or 6th.
