the foot locker i picked them up from charged me $150. they removed the suggested retail tag that says theyre $140. they were $140 on nike.com earlier this morning and every other online retailer yesterday morning. i dont really mind paying a little extra since i didnt have to wait a week for them to get shipped to my house.

If I recall correctly, this was after a playoff game against the Jazz where Kobe scored ~30 points and Barkley said he couldn't do it anymore... Even though he just did. And then went on to say that his ~30 points didn't matter

I'm of the same opinion. I think the Kobe VIIs looked nicer especially with more simplistic colors like you mentioned.
