I'm really impressed with his 3 ball so far though

Yea, his three point shot looks really good so far. The last few years I rarely thought they would go in, but so far this year, it looks like he gets better arc and uses his legs more.

Tough day. I've seen coaches as well as friends come and go. No matter how many years I've been playing, it's still hard to deal with. I had a good relationship with Mike and I will continue to have one. I wish him and his family nothing but the best. I spoke with him today and thanked him for all of his hard work and sacrifice.

As a team, we must focus our energy on tonight's game. We must block out the weight of today's news and simply do our jobs to the best of our ability.

I'm not sure what direction we are heading in next. All I can do is focus on the here and now.

Kobe's just liking this guy because he clearly works hard and knows basketball.

But he wasn't a good coach and he certainly wasn't the right man for this job.

Really took it upon himself to set the tone tonight...the old man shouldnt have to be that player anymore but you can only admire just how much the game means to him after all he has accomplished.

He did everything tonight. Absolutely brilliant.

Playing MVP level basketball so far. He's looking for his teammates and scoring at ease. Turnovers will come down once we get an offense going

Only thing I fear is the dreaded February-March period where Kobe goes into a slump

This might be the year we don't see that

If we can get Meeks going, he will get his rest and so far this season he's not killing himself for 20 pts, everything has been within the flow and pretty easy for Kobe standards.

Kobe playing 32-34 min all season, will keep Kobe fresh for the stretch run.

Wow, that Princeton is sure something. Crazy efficient numbers again!

Seriously though...remember when Jordan was in his twilight and he was killing opponents with high IQ bball plays rather than athleticism...you think Kobe is in that state of mind now? Kobe just pulled a vet move on that rookie Barnes and was smiling all the way to the charity stripe.

I like Kobe the way he played tonight. It was just really fun seeing him pick apart a young team. Just play after play making the Warriors hate the night.

Definitely MVP numbers, but unless the record turns around we're not going to see anyone saying anything about that.

The record will definitely turn around. Lakers are only 3 games behind San Antonio for the best record in the conference. They could catch them within a week or so.

Another amazing game for Kobe. 27/9/7 on 56% shooting.

He just controlled the game well. Made correct passes all night, scored when he had the chance. Actually, he could have easily had 12+ assists if guys made those chippies under the basket.

Anyone see JackAzz Adande's dumb*** question? Kobe straight belittled him, are you serious with that?

:man10: Yes, I saw it. My favorite part of this post though is that nickname, all this time just calling him J.A. Adande when we could have been using that awesome and fitting nickname. Yet another LA reporter that doesn't even like the Lakers and is mostly negative.
