I'm not even sure he likes to cheat...to me, it seems like he just loses a little focus with the man he is guarding every now and then.

But if thats how Pop sees it, then I cant argue. I wish we could execute final shot plays like that.

Nobody on our perimeter can chase his opponent through screens ... Pop knows that ...

Kobe D is horrible ... he just gives his man the open 3 regardless of how the play develops ... he's always packing the side of the "paint" and losing his man , penetration or not

yup. I guess he's resorted to that because he can't stay in front of ppl anymore. Force them to shoot the long range, n stop the penetration...

Pop is just real slick man...

In terms of Kobe...great great control of the game on offense. Dude just gets better and better.

In terms of defense, Kobe needs to stop slouching off his guy. He does that waaaaay too much. During our losing streak, you can clearly see Dwight getting frustrated with it...and he has every right to be.

Kobe actually got screened by Howard and not Duncan in that play.

kobe at 26.4. melo at 26.8. Kobe on 57% Shooting though. While melo is at 45%. Kobe at 5.5 rpg, and 5.2 apg as well. Melo at 7rpg, and and 1.5apg. I think kobe has been the mvp of the league so far. Especially when u factor in his his age, and efficiency numbers. Only thing holding him back is the teams record...

Looks like Kobe wanted to go around the right of Dwight. I suspect these miscues won't happen once they get acclimated.

what? thats fake hustle as it gets, Green had a wide open shot, Green was already done with his release before Kobe even made an attempt.

I guess, I'm not gona harp on that one play cause he's the one who made this game competive but in general that is how Kobe D has been over the years, his "cushion" is disturbing to me.

63% shooting. His fg% will increase. Currently at 55% (without this game's percentage factored in). And thats with nash probably ready by friday, and most certainly sunday!!! It will probably stay at that range. Don't see him dropping below 50% this year. I was worried that kobe's % will suffer without nash. Not the case though. This is just a different, more efficient kobe. Better jumpshot, and attacking the paint mentality= 50+ percentage. Thats how jordan played, constantly attacked the basket.

Yea i'm not going to lie and say it hasn't been annoying me either. Hopefully kobe has heard what tony parker said about popovich's plan to go at kobe. Should definitely gain his attention on what he's doing on D...
