Kobe on crutches?

Kobe on crutches?

Postby 4Rings on Tue Jul 08, 2003 11:33 pm

I was listening to the McDonnel (sp?)/Douglas show on ESPN radio and a guy named Tony something or other came on and said that he spoke with several people who are directly involved in this Kobe situation. They said that Kobe is on crutches and thus barely able to move. He said the 19 year old girl made up a bogus story. I find it odd that this girl immediately goes on vacation after alleging these very serious charges.

I personally think that Kobe should come out publicly and declare his innocence. Let his fans know and whoever else know that he is going to be alright. What do you all think?

Yea, cuz Kobe was in Colorado undergoing a knee situation or something, u know?? So if he's on crutches then she did make up this story, but how long has heen been on them? We all know he's innocent, I'm just tryin to put 2 and 2 together.

yeah, i'm sure kobe wants to be alone right now though... he's going through a rough time in his life. however, he should stand up and declare his innocence. KB8 = INNOCENT! Not guilty, y'all got to feel me!

I'm sure he's been told by his attorneys not to say anything just to be cautious. He doesn't need to accidentally say something that's going to hurt his case. And maybe Kobe doesn't feel any need to defend himself and delcare his innocence. His attorney keeps saying that he is innocent and expects to be completely exonerated, so....

Still, Kobe's attorney isn't Kobe himself. The lawyers should coach Kobe on what to say and what NOT to say. If he is truly innocent, he should come out and denounce these allegations. If you hide away, people will think you are hiding something. I believe Kobe didn't do anything illegal but I still think he should come out publicly. I have lawyers in my family who have worked on some of the biggest cases in CA history so I know the deal.

HA!! And since that chick doesn't know that Kobe's on crutches, that's just gonna make her look like the liar she is... That's a great strategy to stay slient, so the prosecution doesn't have a time to react in to make her look innocent...

Okay, but just to play devil's advocate for a moment... wasn't the supposed incident on Monday, June 30th? And didn't Kobe have surgery the following day?? If this is the case, as I believe the reports have said, then Kobe wouldn't have been on crutches when this incident supposedly happened. I still don't believe it happened, I'm just saying that I believe this is what was reported. Kobe arrived on June 30th, had surgery the following day, and left July 2nd. The alleged sexual assault took place on June 30th.

So that wouldn't work as an alibi... Cuz he had surgury the day after the alleged incodent.. He's still innocent.. I'm still wonderin the physical evidence they have in their posession... :man3:

Did he have surgery the day after this incident? Does anybody know for sure? Whose to say he wasn't on crutches even before the surgery took place?

All I know is from what has been reported through his attorney and the newspapers. According to every report I have heard, he had surgery the day after the alleged incident.

Yea... I'm sure she's sure of it too... That's what I'm sayin about the physical evidence... it just doesn't add up if there were witnesses, cuz wouldn't the supposed witnesses try and stop kobe if he supposedly did commit this? They're prolly her co workers who are tryin to get money outta this incodent too...

So, now it's sounds as though her story isn't going to line up... an attack in front of people?? Give me a break! Witnesses and physical evidence? I don't think so. :man7:

Thank you!! So since she works there too, she could have got into his room, and planted "evidence" from her's too if that's what they found...

yeah, remember their "physical evidence" does not have to come from Kobe. This might sound kinda disgusting, but she could have just put some of her "fluids" on his bed and claimed sexual assault.

So, either the report about witnesses is wrong, and there is possibly a case, or this girl is a flat out liar!

Is there a choice to take "both of the above"?

Even if she put her fluids on his bedroom at the resort, forensics can determine the angle and direction of where she started, and how deep and hard she pressed it into the sheets. So just by that, they can determine that she purposly put them there!! I watch too much Court TV :man12:

I posted this in another section, but here it is:
On ESPN.com... ESPN Motion talks about Kobe's legal problems. They say that "unspecified evidence" has been sent to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation for further analysis.... wonder what this evidence is.

Damn ladies...we need to send Lakerqueen and Lakergyrl out there as beat writers and then maybe you two can find out what the hell is really goin on in Hicksville. I don't know if you guys watch Jerry Seinfeld...but remember the series finale when they all go to this stupid little town and get arrested for watching someone get robbed and not helping them out....the Kobe case kind of reminds me of that.

In an article that will appear in the LA Times tomorrow, at latimes.com, it says that Kobe had surgery shortly before the incident occurred... which, following the crutches news, would seem highly unlikely. This article talks about the Vail Daily and what people in the town are saying.... no one seems to know who this girl is... check it out.
