Cool videos, looks like a great vacation in a beautiful location. I have seen really nice photos of that resort with its eclectic buildings. On another note, as a camera person I wanted to jump into the last video at the end and smack the twit girl on the right who was photo bombing the 2nd attempt by the guy with Kobe's camera trying to give him a nice family shot.

Programming Alert: Kobe Bryant Press Conference at His Annual Camp

TWC SportsNet @TWCSportsNet · 29m

Hey @LakersNation; we’ll be on the air live at 3:00pm pct with complete coverage when @kobebryant speaks from his camp in Santa Barbara. Be there!

I am sure he will be asked about the Melo situation and how he is feeling/looking on the basketball court. Should be entertaining nevertheless.

This press conference is more enlightening than I thought. I mean it's not super enlightening, just more than I even expected. He was open about Melo, Pau, and our plan B. At the very least he's saying the right things, "if they miss with plan A at least they tried", "they're going for it, that's all you can hope for". He actually acted ok with playing the "waiting game" even if we miss this season on everything.

Kobe interview…poor man’s recap.

-Team has flexibility, outside opportunities in LA, and proven track record of success to offer FAs.
-Wasn’t at UCLA playing with Melo and Love
-Respectful of players taking opportunities that FA offers them. (ie Melo and Pau)
-Thinks it would be fine playing with Melo.
-Byron Scott was his rookie mentor. Had to run errands for him and get him donuts and stuff. Always been a fan. Would like to see him coach.
-Likes Randle’s tenacity and competitive spirit.
-Seemed to indicate that there is a Plan A and B and said plan B is a good plan but timing relies on Plan A.
-Confident Pau stays if Melo comes. Says Pau is loyal, but hasn’t had big FA opportunity before.

ESPNSteinLine: ESPN sources say Mavericks and Rockets RFA Chandler Parsons have reached agreement on three-year offer sheet worth in excess of $45 million

Lmfao, we can make a pitch to bosh at least if we got on the phone quick enough, in case Melo says no. I love Melo, but if we could talk Bosh down to around 17-18mil to start, make an offer for Isiah and a SF, while stretching Nash ... I'd be cool with that

Bosh at 17

Stretch Nash
- Isaiah at 6 or Lance at a higher rate
- a SF for 4
- Room exception

Bosh is clearly the b prize but Cuban could have made it possible for us. The rockets take the cap hit if parsons signs an offer sheet first.

I like Melo better; its just I like Bosh much better than Pau all around at C at this point. But Pau seems to be a sticking point to secure the better player, while on the other hand, Bosh may leave enough room to sign another lesser perimeter talent assuming Nash gets stretched such as Lance or IT

Either way I think we need to make Bosh plan B and not some stiff like Monroe who hasn't amounted to anything in the league.

I think Kobe can work with Melo and Pau or a Lance, Bosh, Randle, team tbh. Either way its better than last year
