Seriously how pathetic is it that the media is starting drama about Kobe TWEETING from his BED in his house.......
"The first time I ever saw my uniform hanging in the locker I put it on right away, and it just felt like I was putting on golden armour. From that day forward, I just called it 'the golden armour', it just felt like there was something mystical and magical about it" - Kobe Bryant.

Only the media could make a story out of a bored Kobe missing his first playoffs (that his team made) tweeting at home. As for 'Antoni's thoughts on Kobe's tweets, I couldn't give less of a crap if he rolls his eyes and isn't a fan, I'd rather Kobe was coaching this team than him to be honest.

In this case, I don't see what the media did wrong at all. They told Mike in his presser that Kobe was commentating on the game and why wouldn't the media bring that up...its not Jack (who is a fan)...its Kobe (who is your team captain and one of the main cogs in even getting you into the playoffs).

Mike should have answered it in that manner. Kobe has every right to voice an opinion cause he sacrificed himself to get us even to this point.

This is why MDA shouldn't get the benefit of the doubt for Kobe's injury. He clearly is a sarcastic guy and isn't really tight-lipped about anything. He did the same to Pau when he first got here. The guy has no problem telling Kobe he's a "fan"....so he obviously had no problem playing Kobe entire games. That was his own coaching decision to play him entire games. And Kobe being the dude he is, accepting all challenges, tightened his laces and went to work. If Mike decided against playing Kobe entire games, he would have no problem telling Kobe so.

I don't have Twitter, but people need to encourage Kobe to keep tweeting during the games. He's earned it! He's the team captain and our best coach at the moment...Mamba, dominate tweeting!

I really don't see this as a big deal. From MDA rolling his eyes, MDA calling him a fan, to Kobe tweeting/joking around. Screw the media for blowing this up for no good reason other than to create more Laker drama and headlines.

Kobe should take some responsibility. He should not try that hard in regular season, we really need him in playoffs indeed. Sad and unfortunate for all of us.

Yeah, it's Kobe's fault his Achilles tore, he really should take some responsibility for getting hurt. :man10: I was pretty sure you'd be happy we were without him and we'd be playing the "right way" now.

I mentioned in the Dan Tony coach of the month thread it would be an interesting dynamic with Dan how he reacted to Kobe Bryant trying to do his best with his long time earned knowledge playing against Pops and Timmy and sharing that knowledge even laid up at his house. Well Dip Bleep just answered it with the "Fan" crack. You ignorant, arrogant A-hole. Kobe has more game strategy in his mangled shooting fingers than you do in your Nash driven, coattail riding career. That really pisses me off. Why the hell was Kobe the only one, plus JVG calling for Pau to take the ball down low. Especially matched against Bonner. (That's on Pau too) Guess it was too abstract for Coach "Go Go Go". :disagree: :disagree: :bang:

The hilarious part is that if he wasn't trying that hard this guy would be calling him out on it, and also if he didn't try that hard we wouldn't even be IN the playoffs in the first place.

Yes and this is why

Kobe Bryant ‏@kobebryant 2h

@LAKERFANKEVIN88 I would but don't want my dudes having distractions plus some writers luv creating controversy so why give them the amo

This is due to the fact that everyone is trying to make a fuss out of MDA calling Kobe just a fan in the post game press conference and rolling his eyes when told of Kobe tweeting during the game.

Even when Kobe is all bandaged up and laying at home on the coach or in bed he can't do anything right in the media's eyes.

Mods need to cross reference the IP addresses of odom1year and "Sack".... the tone of the Kobe hate and propensity to troll with the Kobe crap is so similar it can't be a coincidence.

Stars win championships, and in a game like this that was ugly but winnable if you had that one guy to take over, you see how much you miss your star.

Oh go ahead and call "anyone" out. Seriously have been amused that next to no posts from "anyone" since Kobe went down. Of course makes sense as that seems to be sole purpose in coming here. But surprise surprise..... "the shark gets jumped again" with anti Kobe sentiment, and indeed it is partially Kobe's fault for the loss for working too hard and too many minutes to get us here.....and now being unavailable.
