10 threes was the best in MSG though. Pretty impressive.

Not tonight.

Stephen Curry is underrated, most non-big named athletes go under the radar because they don't garner enough headlines. He better be an All-Star for the remainder of his career.

But let's talk more about Bean. I think Kobe's better performances come in the playoffs, I think he conserves enough energy to try and put his best effort in when it really matters most. I hope he finishes out the second half of the season playing the ball he's been playing lately. We need that to make that playoff push.

I really, really like Steph's game here. I said I wanted him when he was hurt and (ahem) people here told me I was crazy. I know he has the ankle problems, but he's a machine.

Actually he had 11. And that was the best from an opponent in MSG.

I just wouldn't trust his ankles, that's all. The kid is a baller, but those ankles are made of glass. They're the PG version of Andrew's knees.

Love his confidence though and that kid really knows how to shoot.

I was looking at the highlights of Stephs game and I literally went "eh that was a nice game". I didn't say it because it wasn't a great, great performance but more because Kobe has spoiled me as a fan.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Kobe is only 364 points away from passing Wilt on the all time scoring list. Pretty incredible

Kobe over last 3 games : 35.6 points, 8.3 rebs, 6.6 assists.

Hopefully he can continue to play at this level. We sure need it.

Yeah, the highlights were underwhelming but man, watching the actual game it was Kobe-esque. Not quite there but I'm not sure I have ever seen someone go on a 3 pt barrage like that since Kobe against Seattle. (Never saw the Donyell Marshall game).

Ty Lawson made 10 consecutive threes 2 years ago.

Damn. I've said it elsewhere, the guy hasn't looked like this since the 2010 playoffs. Scoring efficiently, doing everything on the court, and setting the tone from the outset.

He looks fantastic.

Aside from a little run of ballhogging in the 3rd, great game. That dunk in the first was nasty, reminded me of his dunk on Yao. I didn't see it coming and as it was brewing I said "no, no way, he can't dunk there, no room", then BOOM.

After he sunk those two threes from the same spot I could have bet every penny I have ever made in my entire life that he was going to shoot that third one *and miss*. I love Kobe but after watching him so long, his 'heat checks' are so predictable.
