I appreciate Kobe for , in addition to being the best basketball player on the planet, intelligent during media events, presenting himself well, THINKING the game of basketball, PROVING that he is deserving of being mentioned along side the all time greats and most importantly...

For his WILL that has allowed him to overcome the myriad of haters, nay sayers, malicious human beings and liars. Ive never jocked a man in my entire life.

EVER.

Not even my dad.

But this dude at the very least keeps me in AWE of his ability to focus under pressure and in the midst of people that want to tear him down. That ****s inspirational. Forget the basketball for a moment. Just think of the FOCUS required to perform.

• Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 35 points and 10 assists, and now has scored at least 500 points in four different postseasons. Only Michael Jordan, who accomplished the feat eight times, has done it more.

He got a crappy team and he got us first round exits. Good team and he has immediately lead us to consecutive Finals appearances.

Some may not like him, some may underrate what he does because he doesnt have ESPN worshiping him day and night, some want him to fail, but Kobe and the Lakers will not be denied.

Yeah I thought that had no chance to go in because Chauncey had smothered him and might have even fouled him.

Like the vids... Bryant won't be FULLY APPRECIATED until he is retired, all is said and done...and is somewhere in Italy relishing time with his family.
Nor can the Lakers get blamed for always making the right decisions over decades. At some point its not just luck or "gamble", its superior management and superior ownership.
