Kobe Bryant Discussion: Reason for Lakers downfall?

He should have said that the man helped us get here, he's our team captain and his input is earned and noted. Next question...

This guy has had cutting words towards Pau, right when he got here and throughout the year, he's rolled his eyes and made sarcastic remarks when his rotations and gameplan have come into question.

The media noticed Kobe's comments and reported it...loaded question or not, its on MDA in determining how he wants to answer the question and of course he chooses the way in which he mutes Kobe...F that!

Maybe he's a bit insecure? Not that he's sitting at home reading the FB comments that generally are overwhelmingly negative towards him, but I doubt that he feels loved by the fan base right now.

Pringles has provided plenty of reasons to bash him, Im not even gonna add this to the list. He does seem strangely annoyed by something that IMO is pretty cool and good-spirited tho.

When Screamin A is right, he is RIGHT :man9:

I'd rarely ever say this of Stephen A. and Skip, but this was a great watch.

Well a stopped clock is right twice a day and they were right today.
I'm not a big MDA fan right now at all. Not even a little bit.

OH MY GOD I generally hate Screamin' A most of the time for his loud mouth schtick. Just grates on you with the style. Skip I just hate all the time. Even worse and he's a dumb bleep often with his stupid positions.

But these guys just ripped Dan a new one so bad he won't be able to sit for a week. And they are both dead on.

In my best NBA modern player usual attitude after doing something good in a game, rather than acting like I've been there before....nooooo.....I'm pounding my chest staring at the camera letting everyone know just how I called it within 20 seconds of reading his "fan" comment in response to the reporter's remark about Kobe's tweeting:

"I mentioned in the Dan Tony coach of the month thread it would be an interesting dynamic with Dan how he reacted to Kobe Bryant trying to do his best with his long time earned knowledge playing against Pops and Timmy and sharing that knowledge even laid up at his house. Well Dip Bleep just answered it with the "Fan" crack. You ignorant, arrogant A-hole. Kobe has more game strategy in his mangled shooting fingers than you do in your Nash driven, coattail riding career. That really pisses me off. Why the hell was Kobe the only one, plus JVG calling for Pau to take the ball down low. Especially matched against Bonner. (That's on Pau too) Guess it was too abstract for Coach "Go Go Go".

I got more insight and strategy from those Kobe tweets during that playoff game than I did from D'Antoni all season long, but boy, if D'Antoni was rolling his eyes when he called Kobe a fan (read that part from an article BTW), he's going to be in deep [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. If the Spurs don't sweep us, he'll suit up just so he can shoot some clutch free throws at the end of the game. :man10:

I thought I would post a few comments from the ESPN Comments at the end of the Stephen A Smith video diss of Mike D'Antoni. These responses are stupid, possibly will offend some, but I just thought I'd share how hilarious they were to me:

I always scroll down and quickly scan the comment sections of articles, videos etc regardless of the site.

If you're good enough to automatically filter out the overwhelming angry, offensive and idiotic, braindead comments, there's almost always atleast one or two there that are guaranteed to be so bizarre they'll just blow your mind and make you bust out laughing.

Regardless of what MDA thinks (which isn't very much), there were much better and smarter ways to handle the situation, Kobe, and the LA media. He failed across the board, but no surprise that is what he does best and what he's accustomed to.

I don't know if we'd be up 2-0...

But I DO know these games would have been much more competitive behind an actual leader, and we may have even stolen one in San Antonio. At the very least, we would have made the Spurs break a sweat.
