Brett Favre has the most interceptions in NFL history. You've got to throw passes to make the great passes. You have to take shots to make the great shots.

This is why the entire Lakers Discussion is going to crap. I can't even be critical of Kobe Bryant for one of his worst 10 minute stretches of the season without being labeled a bonafide Kobe hater that's a troll with an agenda.

Hmm . . . PhoenixrisingLA and Lakerswiz - I think there's a misunderstanding here. Lakerswiz is not a Kobe hater by any stretch of the imagination. There are a handful of posters I would classify in that department without naming names, and I think we are all pretty used to seeing them and their transparent agenda.

Lakerswiz doesn't fall into that AT ALL. Seems like he's just frustrated and it's spilling over into some particulars right here. But he's not a hater.

I fell into complete frustration after Mike D' Antoni started spouting a bunch of stuff about crazy lineups and not playing Hill and Jamison, etc. That drove me to madness after dealing with Mike Brown and his nutty lineups. I think everyone has their own kind of trigger.

The thing is it's an incredibly frustrating season. It's wearing on us as fans. But know that most here are in the same boat - just bummed Laker fans trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with the team, and what might fix it.

It's tempting to fight and nitpick and get crazy, but you guys are both real contributing members to the site. Let's try to keep it civil, especially when both of you guys are on the same side really at the end of the day. Save some of that anger for Those Guys or the CHEAT or even the Paper Clips.

Very well, if Lakersjones is calling for peace I'm fine with it. lol

Lakerswiz, I think we can both agree that Kobe had a sub-par game last night.

Here's hoping for a miraculous rebound game tonight.

I think we all saw this dubious record coming. A volume shooter (not always at a high clip) who has made deep playoff runs nearly every season of his 17 year career.

Not a very honorable record, but it is what it is. lol

Yeah, I made the point that Favre owns the all time interceptions record, but what he's remembered most for (besides retiring 15 times) is his great passes.

To make those passes you have to take those chances.

To make the "Kobe Bryant" shot you have to be willing to take the shot. When you take a chance, sometimes you lose. It happens, it's happened for about 15 years now not counting Kobe's first couple of seasons off the bench.

I've always been a big fan of your posting, btw.

I'm actually surprised Kobe broke the record for most misses. Oh well, it is what it is. Not a great stat to have, but whatever. As mentioned, Favre has the most INTs and Babe Ruth has the most strikeouts. Good company.

I guess you would hope that with leading most misses he'd be higher on the all time scoring list. Not as efficient I suppose.

Kobe must be tired. He is shooting like crap tonight and playing even worse defense. How many times is he going to completely lose his man only to have his man go straight to the basket for a layup or to the three point line for an open three?

That 3 was too early. However, I do expect one of the best PGs to ever play the game to make the decision when to give up the ball. We could have waited for a better opportunity.

I would feel a lot better if Nash missed that 3.
