Kobe tried to follow the game plan by not immediately coming out and just scoring, scoring, scoring you can't blame him for that he tried to do the best he could, couple of his shots fall we would have had a chance to win.

I didn't like his force feeding to D12 in the 1st half ... other than that , it was just a bad game at the wrong for him ...

rough shooting night. but no issue with the shots he took. not sure if chasing kyrie and jennings the last two games had an effect on his legs.

It was obvious he tried to feed Dwight in the 1st half..and unfortunately..Dwight didn't finish. It's really not a good sign that we are having to play him so many minutes..we need bench depth...especially if Meeks isn't going to play, we need a trade to balance our depth. because as long as we exhaust our starters, we will always lose close games like this.

His box score is kinda misleading. He did take some ill-adviced shots but for the most part the shots he missed where ones he generally makes at a high clip. He had a bunch of them go in-and-out. The shot was just a little off.

His D wasn't all that great but it was good. Can't do much against Wade if you're getting hit with illegal screens from Joel Anthony...

His surge in the 4th Q was fun to watch.

Kobe wants more plays called for him off picks to shoot or get in the paint -- basically make his life ...
easier on offense to score if he's going to sacrifice so much energy on defense for the team's sake. Kobe said he told D'Antoni late in game tonight: "Can't be standing around out here like this all night long."

The Lakers expected Miami to trap Nash's pick and roll and stay with Kobe on the weak side, but Kobe wasn't satisfied just being a decoy most of the night. He tried hard to set up Dwight but also blamed himself for not attacking more on his own: "I should've been more aggressive from the start."

odom1year like i said even when we win and kobe plays good he always complains over kobe bryant . he is the biggest kobe hater here in the forum. regardless the outcome of the game he finds ways to blame kobe for everything which goes wrong. kobe had 3 bad quarters but he tried his best in the 4th to will us to win. by the way i guess like his name odom1year he is a secret clippers fan hahahaha

1. I don't think I've blamed Kobe when we win at all. Maybe just blamed some bad plays during the game.
2. I've joined this forum since 06 when Odom was still a Lakers. I dislike Clippers. But they are really impressive this year though.

and maybe couple others .. I don't know what the purpose of your log was but it wasn't complete ... anyway ... Kobe played great in the 1st and 4th imo ... in the third he started to go back to old Kobe - too many forced shots ... but overall still pretty good game from him ... hope he holds it up from last two games into the others ...

about the game - heat play amazing D - they are quick, and rotating amazingly ... we've got a long way to go

Hmmm. I don't know if I like the way that is worded. Maybe just lost in translation? Let's hope.

The way that is worded makes it seem like, he doesn't really want to be playing defense, he'd rather take shots, but he's going to play defense for the sake of the team but in return he wants more shots.

Imagine if a father said he wants more back rubs if he's going to sacrifice so much time with his buddies for more time with the kids for the family's sake.

Makes it SEEM like "more time with the kids" is a negative thing. I'm thinking it's a translation thing most likely because I've never thought of Kobe is a "if you don't feed the dog, the dog doesn't guard the house" kind of guy.

^^You really don't see it do you?... We have only one player on the team that can create his own shot.... one player that can get to the hoop and actually finish..... one player that can be counted on down the stretch....

we have some other "big names" but we saw last night that some other teams do as well..... and our "names" don't seem to live up to the "bigness" of them in tight situations.

Kobe is having to carry both ends of the floor right now because of the lack of any sort of cohesiveness on either end of the floor.

Last night we walked right into their trap over and over again..... Nash was completely nullified to the point that Morris' time of the floor was more productive.... Kobe was standing at the 3 point line with Wade in his shorts and we couldn't get the ball below the 3 point line with more than 8 seconds on the clock most of the night.

Kobe is playing too many minutes and being asked to do too much on a team with some other supposed "stars". He isn't the one that needs to adjust or sacrifice anymore..... it's about time the others got their collective acts together IMO.
