A vintage, clutch Mamba performance. Everybody can learn a thing or two from his will and work ethic.

how much of the media do you think actually watched the game, my guess is? less than half.

I'd say less than that. Most of them are in the east coast in bed by now. The ones on the west, I'd say only half of those actually watch.

Kobe is simply unreal. Yes, he was a turnover machine tonight, but those insane shots, that passion, that will to win carried us all the f-ing way. They cannot keep relying on him to do this every game though. He was monstrous down the stretch.

I shouldn't go here, but I will. I know Michael Jordan was a more efficient scorer, a more athletic player for longer. But Kobe is flat out the most amazing player I've ever seen. What he does when he takes over is just beyond spectacular. It's not efficient. It's not even always beautiful to watch per se, but it's utterly mind-blowing.

hate to say it but for kobe to win MVP he'd have to play around this level the rest of the season and have the lakers go 18-1 if not 19-0 the rest of the way.

it's sad, and not right but it's the truth. if the lakers did that then i do believe he'd win it, but that's a tall task for a team that struggled to beat the hornets and raptors

i don't know which one was even better. the pump fake and shot over anderson is my favorite though mainly because shooting with a defender in you face, who is taller than you, with no dribble, is pretty incredible

I was thinking the same thing...

your probably right, considered that night in 2004 was for the pacific title. Tonight wasn't for any pacific title but considering who lost in front of us and Portland right behind us in the standings after beating the Spurs. It was huge

I wish I could put this into words how I feel right now. I can't ...............

This season has been a disappointing one for all of us, and I admit haven't posted much due to the stress that the losses give me. The one bright spot has been Kobe. I've been hard on him over the years because I expect a lot out of him, but the guy is arguably playing the best basketball of his career this season. It's almost like he's turned back the clock athletically too. Seeing him break defenders ankles and dunk in traffic has been jaw dropping :man4: With Kobe playing so well, its maddening to think of what this team could be if they had chemistry and some form of collective soul. Obviously, things aren't looking all that great for us as the season winds down, but I'm really just taking a moment to admire this guy and the level of greatness he's achieved because we probably won't be seeing him for much longer. This ones to you 24

He wouldn't even win it then. Do you really think they won't give THE KANG his mvp.

This guy, wow. He said we are making the playoffs, he freakin means it, a player in his 17th season at 34 should not be able to do this. Not going to be the same when he's gone, he's the reason we're almost never out of a game, he's continued that Laker magic for years and years.

Classic Kobe Bryant performance, even better than last game.

I'm going to try ignore the fact that he'll be retiring in a few years, and just enjoy this man. He's the BEST at what he does.
