I can't remember now, but if he was 4th that year that is just TROLOLOL

Los Angeles Lakers ‏@Lakers
Kobe Bryant is the Western Conference Player of the Week. Bryant averaged an NBA-best 33.0 points, 8.8 assists, 5.8 rebounds and 1.0 steals.

Yet as I watched him Monday, I could not help think how little it mattered and how right he is. He is not fading into the shadows. He does not know how to go out that way.[.]

Because I played with Shaq. It’s that simple. A lot of the time we cancelled each other out. I sacrificed a lot playing with him. I really did. I did it for the success of the team. If I never played with him, my numbers would have been ridiculous.

Why does this only apply to Kobe? It's gonna be terrible that only his reseme he has multiple everything else except for regular season MVP's all because of some bull feces.

Because LeBron is Buddha crossed with Moses and Jesus and his half-brother is Allah. And ESPN likes that.

Should have been three weeks in a row. Practically obliterated all of Ty Lawson's numbers last week. :freak2: Oh well, whatever, we're winning games.

if the Lakers win 50+ games Kobe should win MVP

unless the Heat break the 33 game win streak.

Lakers would have to go 17-1 to win 50. 51 would mean 18-0. That would indeed by pretty awesome.

Here's why he would win it: he's doing it at the end of the season.

It'd mean he'd be on everyone's mind and he'd be the story of the moment. Not to mention he'd absolutely deserve it.

lol to go 17-1 and win 50 games after this season would be arguably his greatest achievement as a pro in someways.

Oh crap.....already worried about that magnificent Lakers record once this year with the Clippers. It would be 10 times worse to have the Heat break it. Nooooooooooooo!!! Someone take them out.... :mad1:

Just letting all the other teams in the league and their GMs know they have to do this. (they all read CL right?) Much as they all hate the Lakers, they would hate it even worse if the bleeping Heat were to break the record.

And let's be honest: it's not happening.

Let's be real here, if we have similar record with Heat or Thunder. Kobe will definitely have a shot at MVP trophy. Our biggest task right now is protecting the playoffs seeding. Hey !!! Finals MVP is always sweeter and better than regular season MVP.

Good interview with Dan Patrick there, especially the MVP stuff, Kobe knows the criteria is never the same, and 2006 like he brought up was a perfect example.
