I actually wonder. I wouldn't put it past him to try.

If Kidd can do it (play PG relatively well) when he is 38 (2 seasons ago?) - Kobe sure can.

Except Kidd has been a HOF PG his entire career....he's not a SG trying to be a PG. Kobe is obviously a great playmaker but he has the tendency to make bad decisions when he's in pass-first mode. He'd lead the league in TOs by a mile.

the thing with kobe passing alot is that he tends to do jump passing which has a high turnover probability. Once your in the air theres no turning back. I saw a lot of the jump passing last night.

He is a machine. Playing 48 minutes this late in the season with a bunch of injuries is once again a remarkable accomplishment.

He was so focused yesterday. Most of his passes were just fantastic. He's doing a better job of reading the defense and taking what they give him. Maybe Steve has been giving him some pointers.

I was constantly interrupted while watching the game, but its hilarious how he doesn't even flinch on double teams as he's watching the play develop. Just goes along on his business, even to the point where it kinda threw off the Dallas defenders a bit at times.

Bryant didn't seem to be harried and overdribbling like he normally would but kept his composure. He waited for either Howard or Gasol to roll off the screen. That behind the back bounce pass to Howard in the first half was nice. In the second he and Gasol worked it. 24 also penetrated far enough to kick it out to either Meeks or Jamison. If either one had been connecting as usual especially Jamison, last night would have been an even more comfortable win.
No siggie...

My only gripe with Kobe is that sometimes he holds the ball and the offense doesn't flow. And he leaves his shooters wide open.

Triple double, Cap hook, and nearly played every tick of the clock...if this was a certain other NBA player he'd be crowned as the bravest player in the history of our game and Stern would have walked out at the end of the game with the LBJ trophy.

Ooh, Kobe vs Frobe. And it is also symbolic, because young Kobe plays D the way he really used to, while modern Kobe focuses more on polished offense. He's ready to make a move. Who will win this duel?

Apparently Facebook is saying Dwight posted this video of a Kobe remix. His best plays of this current season. Doubt it was actually Dwight, but great video nonetheless.

I hope Kobe plays like he did against Dallas every game for the rest of his career. When he plays like that, we play our best as a team. Loved it.

Oh, the one about how Kobe actually plays the same way every game but the only difference is whether his teammates make their shots?

I don't think it's whether the players are hitting their shots, so much as it is whether they are playing with the same energy. We've seen Kobe pass to players who aren't hitting on numerous occasions if they are working to get in good position. He's a SHOOTING guard, but to insinuate that he doesn't frequently pass the rock is false.
