That was the perfect game for Kobe.

Defense on Westbrook - Check
Efficient scoring - Check
Finding open teammates - Check

Just a really incredible game from him.

What I love is that the offense we're running doesn't tire him out too much. Running the ball through him in the post is a stroke of genius from these guys (only somewhat sarcastically).

It's sad that the best post up player in the game doesn't get to post up all that much.

Love the way he's playing and doesn't seem like he's exerting that much energy handling the ball in the low block. Of course it helps when guys cut and make their shots.

Brilliant game from KB. I've been waiting to see more post-up action from him for a while now. He's an amazing post-up player, one of the best of all time. He'll score and find guys with ease from there.

Kobe with an amazing game. Every time he went to the rim he found a cutting big. He played excellent again.

Actually sadly he has already played more good games than the entire last year.

Is Kobe the leader in missed triple doubles by a couple of stats???
How many times has the dude been 1 rebound or 1 assist away from a triple double?

Before anyone comes in with the "Kobe defending Westbrook wearing him down" argument, watch the game again. He played off Westbrook dared him to shoot from the perimeter. No way Westbrook is gonna pass on an open look. Pure genius. It allowed him to rest and get others involved. Most importantly, it kept the ball out of Durant's hands. Marvelous performance  IF this Kobe shows up (21ppg/8assists/8 rebounds) we will be tough to beat in a seven game series.

Best game of the season. D'Antoni did a good job of managing his minutes so he could be fresh enough to close.

Kobe gets his rest and doesn't wear himself out by shooting so much. He is playing PERFECT! Of course he won't get 14ast every game but moving the ball is key.

2-0 this season when Kobe has 14+ assists :man1:
