^ And it was on Ray Allen's hand (shot) that he gave the Heat the title in the Finals last year.

5.4 seconds left in the game and the Spurs are about to win, but Allen hits that corner 3 to tie the game after the offensive rebound by the Heat..... Still pisses me off

First Rose out again, after following to the letter the weeniest of worriers' advise here for Kobe to sit out a season and come back, because Kobe's "old". (whether Kobe feels he's right physically or not and owes the organization or not). Now Westbrook again…… for another while. Like Kobe. Hey wait….. he's young too. :man4: :man4: Point being "BLEEP" happens when alpha dogs and other guys play hard.

Damn, I didn't know that about Westbrook. Hope he's going to be OK. I don't like the guy very much, but he's a great player. Young, athletic, talented... too bad he has problems with that knee. I was impressed with his ability to return after the second surgery and still have 21/7/6. I mean, those are elite numbers. Bummer.

On the TWC Showtime era show, with the round table of Cap, Coop, Scott, and Worthy, it was nice to hear Coop argue for Kobe as a top 5 of all time player.

Still, I would love to have him on our team.

Mike Trudell
The first time Kobe's taken shots since the knee fracture. Nice and easy, not going for much lift.

A few more Kobe shots from after shootaround. Six weeks from the Dec. 17 injury date is Jan. 28.

I'm not excited about that, he needs to take all the time in the world coming back, like maybe next season.

I want him to stay out longer to strengthen his lower body. No need to rush back only to get injured again.

I want him to take his time coming back as well.. But not because it'll get us a better draft pick.. I just want him to do everything possible to get as close to game shape as he can before he returns so we can decrease the chances of re-injury.

We can say all we want, but no one, and I mean no one is going to talk Kobe into taking more time off if he thinks and feels like he is ready.

I know it sucks, but that's reality.

^^^^ He doesn't get the big picture ... if he wants to kill himself again for an 8th seed ( which is very likely to be out of reach when he comes back) , I don't know what to say ...

He probably thinks himself and his boys Pau and Melo are enough to win a title... who cares about a high pick

Retirement is right around the corner :man6: Gonna miss his extraordinary plays and shots. He made the NBA fun to watch because he was/is the villian and the superstar.

Every game he helps the lakers win is a body shot to our future. He needs to sit at least until march, maybe even April

No rush, Kob! Just recover fully, come of the bench a bit may be. Limited minutes or smth. But, no: Once Kobe's out there, MDA will play him for 30+ mins until he...(God forbid!)...

Lakers are surely done for this season. Kobe should collect his 30 millions salary this year and stay healthy for next season. Hope we can see a 100% Kobe in this November.

Gosh, I miss the Mamba; hope he gets well soon. Again, Kobe being the intelligent person that he is is always wanting to learn new things either to add to his game or life...I've come to admire the man.

He should focus on shot selection and leadership instead.

Per McMenamin: Kobe will be reevaluated in early February as opposed to late January. Also he will not consider shutting it down for the remainder of the season. Once he's cleared to return, no matter what our record is at the time, he will return to action.
