No big deal, Kobe System....

Apparently Kobe is feeling good today: he just reeled off consecutive nasty dunks, the 2nd through traffic.

I can't believe we might only get to watch Kobe for 2 more seasons. I hope most appreciate it instead of hating on him as he continues to age and inevitably decline. This is going godly by if its truly 2 years though, I don't know why I always expected him to keep playing until he couldn't go anymore, but if he stops after 2 seasons more 18 seasons will have been a really long career.

Also at around the 1:13 mark I was actually at that game against the Spurs.

It's have helped things if potato didn't play him 38.5 mins in a shortened season with almost no consecutive days of rest. Who knows what toll that will take in the long run on Kobe's career length.

Man as a kid Magic was my Lakers Icon. My childhood was "showtime". As an adult, finding myself, it was Kobe and shaq, Kobe and LO, Kobe and Pau/LO, Kobe and Pau/Drew and now its Kobe and Pau/Dwight/Nash but the one constant is Kobe. Man, LA will rise without the Mamba but I will look back on the Lakers and remember greatly of the latest King on the Lakers throne. Mamba

Mike Trudell‏@LakersReporter

Kobe is starting his 17th year & has an 18th to follow. If he still feels good physically/mentally, who knows. He isn't concerned.

Kobe doesn't know how he's going to feel in 2 years when contract is up. Is retirement an option? Sure, but def. too far away to tell.

I'm done with Kobe retirement talk...he looking for attention. lol

That's definitely an offensive foul.

Apparently this was for a "charge" that Jamison had taken earlier in the practice.

It's easy to say it's an offensive foul in pictures, but it looks like Jamison jumped too. They usually are going to give that to the offensive player.

Just saw the video of the dunk on Jamison on TWC sports net......

D12 set a screen on the wing on Kobe's man (DJO)....

Kobe used string, drove down the lane and hammered it down....

D12 laughed afterwards.
