Funny, I just heard a country song playing in the gym and thought that was odd (for my gym), and then I heard Nelly "rapping" on there and thought "Thats why........Wait......where's he been?!"
"Come hell or high water we're gonna be there again. Its just something about the Lakers organization. Mitch is really, really good at it, he's really really good man...."

ESPN, especially 1st Take, brings nothing worth for the game of B-Ball ... just gossip for the average fan who only cares about flashy dunks and big names players ... DIDNT WATCH

Where's Nelly been, hiding somewhere stewing in his Kobe hate apparently, waiting to let it explode upon the crew of First Take.

New age? He was famous a decade ago with the Air Force One, Nellyville, and Tip Drill stuff

Gangsta? He's never bragged about selling drugs, just cars and clothes

He gave a dumb argument but your analysis is as flawed as his

What does that have to do with Nelly's video? I didn't watch the video because of overwhelming negative reviews. :man10:

soo i decided to go on youtube and have a nice lil crack up with the comments from that nelly video... you guys be judge of some of these comments...
Ray Allen said this, Now Nelly says it, its no surprise. For every fan out there, dont listen to Kobe fans, they are the most delusional, history revisionist you will ever find in the NBA community. Kobe has been a diva, is selfish, and highly overrated, hes not even clutch. Kobe has talent, has the competitive fire, but hes over the top egotistical

Finally someone said the ugly truth about Lakers. It has been Kobe's team for a long time and many people have said he's hard to play with. Howard had no problem with the pressure. Look at how well he performed in Orlando being the only superstar there.

no one wants to come to the lakers to play with kobe.. kobe reminds me of that kid back in p.e. class that you had to play basketball with.. he had a effed up attitude jocky bratty kid that was aggressive and competitive so much, that he made it not fun to play anymore..

best debate ive seen on first take! nelly killed them. they wouldnt answer them questuons about kobe

Nelly was bringing it to SAS...and Skip was just sittin' back, taking it in. Nelly even had to get the moderator in check, when she tried to help SAS. It WAS one of the best First Take debates EVER. I liked when Nelly asked the three of them to name the other starters that went to the Finals with D12. And he never backed down as othere often do.

A good laugh to end the day. If Kobe's not clutch, no one in the league is.

The third comment is even more funny, "aggressive and competitive so much that he made it not fun to play anymore". Hello?! Michael Jordan had the exact same attitude! I don't understand that, you play because of the aggressiveness and the competitiveness of the game, if you want to have fun, look elsewhere fellas.

im just amazed how some people view that video and not see how nelly makes an *** of himself but instead agree with him and talk about how he showed SAS up...

Guys I'm getting sick of having to correct these. Please respect the rules of the site and don't bypass the swear filter. -therealdeal

No good can come from the youtube user comment section of any video. The occasional chuckle from a bizarre or genuinely funny remark isn't worth sifting through the filth.

I can't believe I watched the whole Nelly interview. And I thought that SAS was difficult and irrational. He was actually the voice of reason compared to Nelly.

I suppose that the only reason that Nelly is irrationally defending Dwight is because they're friends. Otherwise, it makes no sense to me that when confronted with the question "Why is it that Dwight didn't want to play with Kobe? " , Nelly implies that it must be something wrong with Kobe, not Dwight.

Some people, scratch that, many are Kobe haters and they'll agree just for the sake of hating on him.

Nah Nelly and Dwight probably don't know one another from a can of paint other than passing by, and giving a handshake at an award show or something. Nelly has never been a fan of Kobe, honestly.
