Don't worry.

Our championship hopes will always exist due to Shaq.

Everything is dependant on his will and determination.

This is what I see in the future for Shaq....2003-2004 Regular Season MVP, 2003-2004 All Star MVP, and 2004 Finals MVP.

It would be nice to have Kobe....but he is not the reason why we will win a title next year.

Shaq is the most dominant, and with Payton and Malone, he will be better than last year.

Kobe's trial won't go till the playoffs that is almost certain.....cause they have all the hard evidence and Kobe already stated that they had sex...so it will be a he said she said kinda trial....but not a 7-8 month trial by anymeans. He will probably miss months but not the year and certainly not the playoffs. He will also want to get back on the court because it will almost be therapeutic taking all his aggression out on his opponents. Plus it will make him look great in the public eye again. He can't just go into hiding and frankly he wont. He has alot of courage and pride and I think we will not lose him for the season. We will get back a Kobe that has something to prove...not to us...but to himself and his wife.

Kobe's lawyer at the press conference was asked how long did she thought the trial would take and her answer was that cases like this as a minimum take 6 to 9 months. If you don't expect the trial to start till Sept/Oct, that means Kobe's ordeal will not end till March/April timeframe at the earliest. I think the Lakers management needs to assume Kobe will not be available for this season and add to the team accordingly ... good thing we picked up Payton and Malone.

It's going to be a really big set back, although I still think they can win the Championship. Remember Payton and Malone are still very good players and without Kobe, they'll get alot more touches. We still need to sign a SG (Harris) but, if they get win, we're still very well in the mix (although not obvious front-runners as they should be). I think Payton and Malone can average a combined 40 pts. now in Kobe gone and they'll get more assists and rebounds. But I still want my Kobe back :man6:

Kobe made a mistake, his punishment is he'll no longer be looked at the same, but he is innocent of Rape, and will be alright, and he will LEARN from his mistake, and he will sign with the Lakers to a new contract because of how happy he will be when he is found NOT GUILTY. :jam2:

Hopefully Shaq gets motivated with all this BS. Knowing that one of his closest teammates is being wrongfully accused like this.

The Big Daddy will be back. I guarantee that!!!

Too all those idiotic Laker haters...don't celebrate yet!!!

Remember, these f*ckers messed with the wrong guy.

First it wasn't Shaq. And Superman will be out for vengeance.

Second, if you mess with Kobe...he will never forget it. He will just use all this BS as motivation to prove evryone wrong. For every idiotic statement he hears from a stupid fan, will just be another title ring in his finger!!!!
