First... I don't like MDA's system and I don't think he's a championship coach.... I didn't like Brown's system and didn't think he was that good either.
With that said.... I think we're a poorly matched team of individuals and there isn't a system that can fix our issues.
We have 6 players (Kobe, Howard, Pau, Nash, MWP and Jamison) that have all been the primary player on a team in the past. They have all had "systems" built around their talents with the exception of MWP and Jamison. Getting them to share and move without the ball isn't something that comes naturally or even innately to them.
It's so obvious to anyone who really understands the game, you can't just throw together a bunch of big names and expect success. If Kobe has another chance at a championship here in LA this team needs to be dismantled and re-built from just about the ground up..... and quickly. I don't think what we're seeing is fixable with a new system.
