lakers vs blazers feb 23 game dropped from espn

ESPN has dropped the Lakers v Portland game on Feb 23 for Clippers v Hornets Game.

this is just a shame.

lol i'm sorry but unless they make a trade there is no way there even making the finals this year. SA has HC now, and the lakers can't beat ANY of the power house teams they are simply a good team but not a great team. There on that 2nd tier level not championship.

If you hadn't already known, you wouldn't even think we've won the Championship 2 years in a row.

Just a COMPLETE shame.

looks like your mad? Just because no one wants to see the Lakers play without emotion, without drive, not caring for the season, and just not beating the teams they should... its not ESPN's fault your mad.

Kobe said to the media to "KISS MY ARSE" .. well. unfortunately, the only Buzz the Lakers are creating are in bad context...

the only one that looks like they want to win is Kobe. the rest of the team are hanging out with Bynum too much

And also, who cares about whether ESPN is covering that game? I watched last night's game on Fox because I'm sick of the extreme national media. They're annoying.

League Pass/Local TV just offers a much better game viewing experience than BSPN does.

The games being on National TV are more of a hindrance to fans who just want to watch the games.

Oh well. I don't find it much of a shame. By that I mean, they still play the game itself and I can still watch it on KCAL 9 which I would have done anyway. I hope you can find an alternate way to view it besides BSPN. As far as this being some embarrassment or something I don't find it to be one really. I don't care who BSPN picks to broadcast.

I like my games in HD, so this sucks.

I have HD thru my local provider. I have League Pass, which isn't in HD. I'm not in the LA area to get KCAL.

League Pass has one HD channel now....at least on Comcast. I assumed you were in SoCal.

They replaced that game with our game vs GSW

actually good news. espn/abc/tnt raises the lakers' opponents' motivation level, but apparently does absolutely nothing to motivate the lakers. the fewer nationally televised regular season games, the better.

its really disappointing that this would happen. even though i'd rather listen to joel and stu, knowing that lakers game is televised nationally feels good. i mean lets face it, lakers are the pride and joy for los angeles in the sports world.

it just seems one bad thing after another for the lakers. but i know in the end it will all work out and we will be celebrating another ring.

They dropped the Lakers - Blazers game, but ESPN picked up Lakers vs. Warriors on April 6.

I'm kinda glad it's not on BSPN, because I enjoy watching my games on LP Broadband on my computer.

But damn... everybody is disrespecting us right now. People would rather watch "Peter" Griffin dunk then watch the two-time champions.

This sucks for the fans who don't get the local channels (FSW and KCAL). But since it's in Portland, the Lakers will probably lose, regardless of which stations are airing the game.

If it was Hubie calling the game I might be a little miffed, otherwise WGAF? Why would I want to listen to butthurt JVG and Jackson who have never won anything cheering for the opposition anyway?
