Just watched that, SICK!!!
"The first time I ever saw my uniform hanging in the locker I put it on right away, and it just felt like I was putting on golden armour. From that day forward, I just called it 'the golden armour', it just felt like there was something mystical and magical about it" - Kobe Bryant.

Not soon enough. :jam2:
I should get an assist for that. It's an intentional pass to oneself, so it's an assist. That way people can't say all I do is shoot.

Dwight's defensive plays are awesome.

:lg2k3: Seriously it appears Dwight "moves" at twice Bynum's speed doing everything. Is that possible? OK.....maybe 1.75% faster. :man4:

And Steve freaking Nash....god I love to watch that guy play especially now he's out of that hideous orange and brown uniform and into P & G.... woohooooo!!!

One by one they are terrific players, no doubt about it. And one of the best things is... that they can be even better playing together.

Dwight Howard will be a terrific fit for Pau Gasol (strong presence and defense that it will help Pau to make a lot of other dynamic things). Pau Gasol can play play at PF position most of the time, with Bynum... in the last years he had to play as Center a lot of minutes/games.

Kobe Bryant needed help because of his age and injuries... he cannot be with the ball all the time, Nash and Dwight will be a great help (scoring, with the ball, etc.).

Dwight Howard is a monster in both sides of the court (close to the Basket). He is strong, quick, athletic, dominant, good defender... and he can score with the left hand (an extra weapon).

Steve Nash will make aven better to each player of the Team. And the Showtime is welcome again!!

Antawn Jamison can be as important as Lamar Odom in the last years, a 6th man with quality to play starters' minutes. A great acquisiton (I know that all people is looking at Dwight and Nash, and it is normal but... Jamison will be so good for us).

Can be Earl Clark our new Trevor Ariza type of player? Only dreaming but... I like his athleticism.

It seems that Jodie Meeks is a vey good acquisition too, quality minutes in the backcourt from the bench... wow!! this is new!! At least since Brian Shaw and Ron Harper's time.

How will be Metta World Peace? If he is able to be focus and play strong (without silly things), he can be a "good acquisition" too. I cannot forget that our stronger rivals... have Kevin Durant and LeBron James as their best players. So... any help from MWP is welcome.

Go Lakers!!

+1! I can't even wait. I'm like a kid anticipating X-mas morning.

Very enjoyable vid. But I'm chomping at the bit to see this team in action. This starting lineup is so balanced. It's like the Avengers or something. Hulk SMASH!

I think Metta World Peace should also be in that group, Fab 5?

Best starting 5 for the Lakers since we had Magic Scott-Worthy-Green-Abdul-Jabbar! Love the video, and major props to whomever did it. Great job. I am only passionate about 1 sports team and that is the Lakers!

I still would like a more competent backup point guard(Ramon Sessions would have been an absolute dream here). However, Barbosa is perfectly capably of filling that role., assuming he comes for vet. minimum

Then, if Mitch can do it, try and find a way for a younger defensive minded BACKUP small forward, while using the following players ONLY (Duhon-Goudelock-Sacre-Blake-Morris).

Add a frontcourt player to round out our PF/C role(i.e. Kenyon Martin/ Etan Thomas) for vet. minimum

We'd be all set to go at that point

everyone keeps talking about adding K-mart.

but wtf isnt our front court set?

Howard/Hill
Gasol/Jamison,

i hardly see any minutes given to any 3 string big man, esp since we all know gasol is going to play some mins a the 5

^ Reason people talk about Kenyon, is that he still is a capable defender, and he is great insurance in our front court. Very true, he wouldn't get many minutes here, but it never hurts to add tough veteran players. He would cost the Lakers practically nothing, while making the bench even deeper. The only red flag I have is that he isn't the most erudite individual on the planet, and does have some questionable character traits, but there is no doubt, if he is content to sit on the bench, and take a vet. minimum salary, I have no problem with him being used as insurance.
