Lakers: Payton strongly considering L.A.

According to ESPN.com, those close to Gary Payton insist he is seriously thinking about signing with the Lakers for the $4.9 million exception. However, if Payton decides to force a sign-and-trade so he can make closer to last year's $12.6 million, the Lakers won't have anything to offer.

lol...he wants his cake and he wants to eat it too... it doesn't work that way... GP has to give a lil', or a championship isn't his 1st poriority like he says it is.
