really hope we being back odom and Sasha and even farmar. hell if there was a way to bring Ariza back that would be perfect.

maybe have enough of Phil's players so that mid game when we need points just forget Dantoni and run the triangle and get ball movement like that again.

really hope we have something up are sleeves but I doubt it. if the season is already lost at least let us watch our old team work all those guys together and happy BUT with Steve Nash

I am all for it. Sasha and Odom? Yes, please. These guys are going to work very hard and the chemistry is there. Try to sign Morrow, use Hill and the rookie as much as possible, and that team has a really good chemistry.

Nostalgia is strong here. Let's do it!

Sasha's hashtag #nekotoodgorevidisve means "someone from above sees it all".

BTW, this team might be even able to play some MDA ball, who knows. I am not sure about Farmar's contract situation, but I'd try to replace hobbled Bynum with Oden, as I said earlier. Give him a chance... There is no risk involved whatsoever.

Well if the plan is to drive Nash to retire a year early and owe nothing next summer then I think its genius. :man10: :man10:

I really dont care in all seriousness though. We're probably gonna be lucky to make the playoffs, so Im already looking forward to 2014 and beyond. Im already prepared mentally to suffer through whatever roster the Lakers can throw at me next season.

Not going to get my hopes up for this.. If he's choosing between us & the Clippers, well their moves so far this offseason certainly make them the favorite.. But maybe he too misses those good times here & wants to come back. All we can do is hope. I turned on him for the way he left but he was always 1 of my favorite Lakers.

After thinking about it..........this is brilliant both on a business marketing standpoint n for team chemistry to grt with what little options we have financiaaly. Bring the beatles back together. Machine, farmar, odom, heck, even mbenga n puke. Stretch a lil further n even get josh powell n the always favorite medvedenko. Lets start a petition.

Nash, farmar, fisher
Kobe, meeks, machine
Artest, ariza, puke
Odom, powell, medvedenko
Pau, mbenga, sacre

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

If Luke Walton is reading all these posts wanting his former teammates and none of him, there will be plenty of hurt feelings. :man6: you guys suck!

Yeah this was one of my faves plus the bench shot of Kobe, Lamar, Pau and a couple of guys going nuts looking at the replay of Shannon's complete theft of the guy's shot from behind up above the rim his first few months here.

i have no problems with luke warming the bench for chemistry purposes. as long as it's not attached to a ridiculously overpaid contract.

It's all mental with LO. Being back home with the Lakers around kobe/pau will boost his confidence. He won't be LO of old, but he could def help this current team. IMHO

Ha! This is a very interesting PR move. After the Dwight debacle, reach out to players who had an emotional attachment to the uniform and tradition. Ithink it's smart. I believe management knows this is a throw-away year, so they're putting entertainment and energy on the floor for a season. Savvy. I like it.

is there any way we could get shannon back for cheap?

i'm not sure if he's a free agent or not. but he would be a perfect fit under dantoni off the bench

Seriously though, Luke could be an assistant or something. He's a waste in a jersey though if he's making more than a half a million though.

Oh holy crap these are just what we needed for some cheering up. I have never seen this one it's awesome. Damn nice job with the tight editing, music and selection of footage. One question though. Did the guy hate Kobe or something? In 3 years he never saw him score? WTF!! :man10: :man10:

Would be a hell of a lot better than freaking Morris as a sub. Then stick around and move to the sideline for assistant or coaching duties.

when we signed ron and ariza went to houston, i didn't really miss him all that much since ron was an upgrade at the time

but now i'd say that trevor would be the better player in d'antonis system and i'd be happy seeing him back in LA
